Strand Tower Hotel    

The staff was friendly, especially the gentleman helping outside.

The room was not very clean, - there was a smell of carpets that is not clean. &Quot;Mif, stowwerige" smell. I was promised when I moved in the room look onto Table Mountain, which did not. In the gym, the bike's seat was broken. This was not my idea of a four star establishment. When we went for breakfast in the morning some of the food was finished, without replacing it.

Friendly helpful staff - especially the conceirge

The gym was 4 pieces of semi-broken equipment and the pool was in a very small space, squashed and uncomfortable. Moving around was hard as the lifts took about 5 mins each time. Despite registering for parking I was sent to the pick n pay a 5 min walk down the road in the dark and rain - not ideal as a single female, I then had to pay for a second time - the hotel said they would, but didn't

We liked the hotel.The staff are very kind and polite,always willing to help.The training is obviously done by professionals.the food was excellent,breakfast was overwhelmingly generous.The hotel has a fantastic children's room which kept our boys very busy.They loved every moment.we really enjoyed our stay and if we have another trip to Capetown,we would definitely go back there! Kudos Strand Towers and thanks Booking.com for making this possible.

Location and friendly staff

Access to the lobby from the street is confuse with a lot a cars parking in front of the facade; cleaning staff do not respect signs like "do not disturb"; room service is too expensive and slow.

The staff is excellent and their response for things like iron services is very satisfactory.

The parking needs to be addressed.

Good location , staff friendly and very helpful at any time of the night. They have a piano player playing at breakfast which is rather nice. Staff at breakfast very helpful. Hotel is clean and bed very comfortable .

Bathroom shower water very weak . No hair shampoo or soap. The dispensers were empty. Room very noisey even on the 14th floor due to location of the room. Hairdreyer did not work . No Sky TV so limited TV channels.

The people at the Strand Tower Hotel were very friendly and helpful. We used the Executive Club/Lounge daily for breakfast, snacks, happy hour and unlimited internet. This was well worth the extra surcharge!!! The bathroom was luxurious and I was glad for the grab bars in tub and shower areas.

Liked everything, totally excellent!!! Definitely would recommend to friends and women travelling alone.

Great business hotel in city center. In walking distance to almost everything although the v&a Waterfront is better reach via Taxi which is cheep and beats the round about route that one must take when walking. Good variety of restaurants and bars in the area - Irish pub only a 3 blocks away. Hop on - hop off sightseeing bus only 2 blocks. Hotel restaurant does a dinner buffet which would appeal to someone with a big appetite. Super staff that was clearly very well trained with a solid focus on customer service. Business center was excellent and the package for a Deluxe Room including breakfast and evening happy hour was great value for money. Laundry service was better than most hotels. Nice shower with big thick towels. Overall a great 5 night stay.

Most unpleasant stay. The air conditioning in the room was not working and inspite of repeated reminders they did not response and do anything about it. It is a 3 star hotel and not more. The telephone charges from hotel room are exorbitant. I dialled a number and as it was not valid I was not connected still I had to pay for it. On second time I talked for about 30 seconds and I was charged about 7.50 zar (abour rs.50.00) I understand from a tour operator from India who is the biggest in terms of taking tours to S.Africa ( They were conferred award by S.Arican airways.) they were usinig this hotel till last year but have stopped using it from this year. Please do not suggest this hotel on your website as it would give bad name to you as well.

Very nice hotel but if visiting Cape Town again would probably choose to stay in Water Front area(safer at night) if similar value can be found.

Wonderful view of Table Mountain from my hotel room. Great breakfast. Very clean, spacious rooms with lovely bathroom. Good location.

Wifi service very expensive and slow. Swimming pool a bit disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay in Strand Tower Hotel. The location is perfect for those who like to go out (nearby Longstreet). Located on a 15min walk of the Waterfront. Also close to Camps Bay, Table Mountain etc... Clean room and bathroom.

Bij gebruik van Booking.com in de avond is er abusievelijk dezelfde datum ingebracht. Bij aankomst de volgende dag werd de dag ervoor als een not-showup beschouwd en diende betaald te worden. Wij gebruiken booking.com op deze wijze niet meer omdat de risico's van het invullen van formulieren onderweg tijdens het reizen te veel risico's met zich meebrengt. Eén nacht slapen heeft ons nu meer dan € 200,00 gekost in een matig, afgeleefd hotel.
