Sunrock Guesthouse  

We selected Sunrock because it was close to the airport, it provided free transfers to/from the airport, and the price was reasonable. Also, it had been given ratings that were decent with a solid cleanliness report. I agree with all of the above. We arrived in the evening and it was dark. As such, we were a bit unsure of the safety of the hotel (not in the best area being close to the airport). In the morning, though, we saw electrical fencing around the property and it felt much safer. The shuttle driver was a delight.

The hosts at Sunrock are amazing. They welcome you like family, go out of their way to be helpful and make you feel at home. They even helped me take my parents (who were flying out earlier than I) to the airport so we could spend a few more hours together. They are great people and needless to say, I will be recommending them to anyone I know heading to Jo`burg.

It was very close to the airport, the hosts were very hospitable, and the dinner and breakfast was delicious.

The facility was excellent. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond our expectations. Rooms wr spotless. Served an excellent breakfast that was included with the room rate. Transported us to/frpm the airport at no charge. Also they cook an evening meal which you have an option to enjoy for a minimal fee. Arthur,spouse and hennie were outstanding!!!!!

We liked the owners, the food and size of rooms.

Arthur and Ina are fantastic hosts who go out of their way to make sure everything is fine

If your lucky enough to get the chicken snitzel for dinner you wont be dissapointed its beautiful I love my chicken snitzel and this is the best ive had

Tricky to actually find.

Everything!!!! The relation value for money is excellent! The garden and swimming pool area is really nice and the staff very kind! The food they cook also really good! Very homemade! Excellent!

There wasn´t wifi connection in my room. The signal was soft because my apartment was a little far from the reception. But if I was near the main house, the reception and bar area, the signal was excellent.

I was picked up at the airport but a lovely man, Henry, who took me to the guest house. Everyone at the guesthouse was very friendly and my stay was excellent. They served an amazing bbq dinner in the common room where I was able to interact with other guests. The environment was quiet and very relaxing. Shuttle to the airport was free, which is great because the guesthouse is less than 10 minutes from the airport!
