Score from 162 reviews Exceptional
Safe location near some very nice restaurants. Quirky hotel with 4 separate houses scattered around the Seapoint neighborhood.
High noise level Bathrooms no privacy No coffee or tea in rooms No kettle or cups or glasses in the rooms
The location was fantastic and was close enough to Main road without the noise. The house had a very quaint and charming feel to it. The en-suite bathroom was located up stairs in the room which made it feel larger. The bathroom was very nice in general. A flat screen tv was provided.
No satellite channels were available. The Bathroom (whilst located upstairs) did not have a closable door thus privacy is limited for couples. Our room was very close to the kitchen which meant we were woken by the loud voices of other guests in the morning. Otherwise a fantastic b&b!
- decor and atmosphere! - size of the room! - terrace!
- Main TV wasn't working :( - wished there was a tub instead of shower in such a big room
Great value for money. Easy access to local shops and transit services. Walking distance to the water's edge. Pleasant hosts. Interesting guests who stay in this type of accommodation
Difficult street parking
My extremely large en suite bedroom was set in a renovated cottage in the heart of Seapoint; quirky, charming. A communal area offered a well fitted kitchen and comfortable seating. Outside, there was a private courtyard, a delightful sun trap. Walking distance from Piazza St John which offers cafe, restaurant and take away facilities. All in all, great value for money.
The room is very beautiful and the staffs are very welcome! Feel like beong at home
We had the room on the fist floor and we can hear the foot step sound from the second floor clearly. A bit annoying to sleep. The room has no air condition, just only a small fan. May not be enough for summer
Paying for ironing and them not allowing guests to iron for themselves is ridiculous.
The room was comfortable and great value for money.
Quaint, easy to get to, convenient
Basic kitchen facilities but no kettle which was odd
I liked the way staff go out of their way to help with relevant information. That made our stay a very comfortable one. Next time I visit Cape Town I will we consider staying with the Sweet Lemon B&B. One thing though you should provide lemons for tea.
1. The door to the passage from the pool room does not close without a latch. 2. Some kind of enclosure to the shower and toilet should be provided: it was rather embarrassing to be seen seated on the toilet seat.
The warm and friendly staff. Truly felt at home! Thank you for a memorable stay!
Cosy and neat
No staff present on premises and kitchen noise and smell in the morning
