The Swellendam Country Lodge offers luxurious accommodation in a green setting. This boutique guest house features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Quiet location with good African style B&B. Lovely gardens with unpretentious functional rooms. The owner and staff are delightful and very happy to help with local knowledge, special requirements and general enthusiasm.

Great welcome! Room had everything needed plus more! Looked after us without crowding us. Really so impressed. Breakfast next morning perfectly presented and way more than needed. Beautiful fire burning in breakfast room as we walked in - divine!

Wie schon in zahlreichen Bewertungen beschrieben, kann ich nur bestätigen: ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, tolle Anlage mit ausreichend großem Pool zum Schwimmen, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter (inkl. Reise- und Streckentipps bzw. Autowäsche!), saubere kleine Zimmer, aber mit allem, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht. Die Zimmer sind nur mit einem Deckenventilator augestattet, D.H. keine Klimaanlage. Wer hitzeempfindlich ist, sollte das bei seiner Buchung beachten. Und bei der Ein-/Ausfahrt gibt es einen hinterlistigen "Buckel" in der Straße. Dort hat die Stoßstange unseres Leihwagens böse am Schotter geraspelt ... :-)
