In a beautifully landscaped grounds in the heart of Hout Bay, this guesthouse boasts stunning mountain and ocean views, making for an unforgettable vacation. Thandekayo, meaning “warm welcome” in Zulu, offers 5 individually decorated guest rooms with private bathrooms and a cozy atmosphere. Read a newspaper on the terrace that looks out to Hout Bay. After a refreshing morning swim, breakfast is served in the dining room or on the balcony, where wide views stretch from Chapmans Peak to Table Mountain. The day can be spent relaxing on one of the lounge chairs in the pool area or enjoying massages. For the more active, the attentive staff can also arrange rental cars and activities such as horseback riding. Photographic works by Martin Osner and Koos van der Lende, two of South Africa's fine photographic artists are on display throughout this unique guesthouse. Hotel Rooms: 5

In all points: excellent!! Top site with beautiful view. Very nice owners and staff. In short time you go to all interesting sites around the cape (20min to Cape Town). The guest house with pool is extraordinary. All rooms differ in a very exclusive style. And you can feel like home. Thanks!! All perfect!

Easy to find. The room in which we stayed needed maintenance - there was damp coming up through the walls with paint flaking off. There were dead insects on the floor. The towels didn't smell fresh. In our opinion the breakfast was not prepared to a 4 star standard to which we are accustomed too and we felt that breakfast was offered late at 8:30am - Most other establishments we have stayed at offered breakfast from 7:30am.

Especially the WARM welcoming and the precise manner of explaining the facilities, eg the internet, tv, etc. The staff make you feel at home and make you "part of the family". Will I go back? YES YES YES!

We had a lovely stay here. The room was really comfortable and the views over Hout Bay are wonderful. The staff were great - nothing was too much trouble at breakfast - we would definitely recommend a visit.

We were made to feel extremely welcome during our visit. The guest house was in a perfect position to explore the sights of Cape Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

The design of the guest house is very attractive and the owners and staff very helpful and friendly We felt that although our room was nice, it needed a little more storage space as we were there for 5 nights and found we were living out of our suitcases to a large extent.

Wir haben im Gästehaus als Ausgagngspunkt für unsere Kapstadtbesichtigungen gewohnt.Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und liebevoll gewählt. Unser Zimmer im Obergeschoss hatte eine wunderschöne Terasse mit herrlicher Aussicht über die Bucht und auf die Berge.Der Service war über alle Massen gut, sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Accueil chaleureux, Guest House magnifiquement décoré. Vue superbe et chambres avec petite terrasse. Information sur la région fort pertinente et à jour. Personnel dévoué. Accès internent quasi impossible dans la chambre mais accessible dans salle commune.
