Friendliness and efficiency

Great location for touring the Cape peninsular with excellent restaurants in the Hout Bay area. The staff were very attentive, especially Banda. A real gem who provided superb breakfasts. The Art gallery lives up to its name in that it is an art gallery as well as a guest house with stunning photographs on all the walls. All in all a great stay and would certainly go back if we are in the area again.

The welcome was exceptional and we felt like old friends. The staff are superb and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had at any of the places we stayed during our five weeks in South Africa. We stayed in Agapanthus Room, which is probably the smallest room in the Guest House, but we had a lovely private balcony overlooking Hout Bay and the garden. The house is full of beautiful photographs taken by Martin, the owner and there is a swimming pool for lazy afternoons. Altogether a memorable stay.

First of all we were so pleased with the location of the property, the views were stunning of the surrounding mountains and sea. Also the welcome was wonderful, making us feel totally at home straight away. The property was extreamly comfortable and unusual. The owners were also very helpful with information about the surrounding area. We will visit again.

Easy to find.

The room in which we stayed needed maintenance - there was damp coming up through the walls with paint flaking off. There were dead insects on the floor. The towels didn't smell fresh. In our opinion the breakfast was not prepared to a 4 star standard to which we are accustomed too and we felt that breakfast was offered late at 8:30am - Most other establishments we have stayed at offered breakfast from 7:30am.

We had a lovely stay here. The room was really comfortable and the views over Hout Bay are wonderful. The staff were great - nothing was too much trouble at breakfast - we would definitely recommend a visit.

Guest House de très bon confort, très bien placé sur la presqu'île du Cap. Les contacts avec les propriétaires, le personnel et les autres résidents ont été fantastiques et très enrichissants. Un séjour exceptionnel en résumé.

Accueil chaleureux, Guest House magnifiquement décoré. Vue superbe et chambres avec petite terrasse. Information sur la région fort pertinente et à jour. Personnel dévoué.

Accès internent quasi impossible dans la chambre mais accessible dans salle commune.

Wir haben im Gästehaus als Ausgagngspunkt für unsere Kapstadtbesichtigungen gewohnt.Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und liebevoll gewählt. Unser Zimmer im Obergeschoss hatte eine wunderschöne Terasse mit herrlicher Aussicht über die Bucht und auf die Berge.Der Service war über alle Massen gut, sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
