Friendly staff and management, stylish ambiance down stairs and great breakfast although we were a bit confused about 1 or more coffee/tea included in the price at first. Having to chose English or Continental breakfast upon arrival suggested it is either one or the other, extra's are charged. Overall value for money and relaxed stay. Disappointed beacuse view over the Bay as advertised is not there, huge sandbank blocks view. Upstairs rooms and bathrooms are a bit small.

The management and staff were exceptionally efficient friendly and created a great atmosphere. The location was perfect to be near a beach as you could walk to various restuarant, beach and shops if you so wished. Value for money with all other aspects taken into consideration would be top of the range. I would definatelly wish to stay at the beach house again, also I would recomment it to all my friends and business associated from jhb and durban.

We stayed for two nights over the week-end. Very friendly and helpful host. Rooms were very clean and comfy and have a great view of the sand dunes and mountains. Breakfast was great especially the cheese omelete and variety of other items muesli, yogurt, a big fruit platter and lovely muffins. The only disapointment being no sea / beach view from room or terrace as huge dunes block it even from upper floor.

In 2004 hebben wij ook een aantal dagen gelogeerd in the Beach House. Wij waren toen erg tevreden over de ligging, de kamers en het personeel. Ondanks het feit dat er nu een andere manager is, zijn wij nog steeds zeer tevreden over het gebodene. De sfeer is prima, men wil echt graag dat de gasten een fijne tijd hebben. Hout Baai is een prima plaats om te verblijven, buiten Kaapstad, maar dicht bij O.A. Kirstenbosch botanische tuin en een ideale startplaats om naar Kaap de Goede Hoop en het bijbehorende park te gaan. Het is jammer dat het duin achter the Beach House inmiddels zo hoog is, dat er geen zicht meer is op het strand.

Есть бассейн, нормальный завтрак. Очень маленький номер, ветхая, сломанная мебель. Нет пляжа.На месте пляжа имеется официальный городской выгул собак с соответствующей табличкой.

Lage an der wunderschönen Bucht sehr schöner Sandstrand Die kostenplfichtige Straße in Richtung Muizenberg ist einfach traumhaft! Die Sicht auf den Strand wird von einem riesigen Sandhügel beeinträchtigt... keine sehr interessante Gegend für junge Menschen. 1x pro Woche weht ein fischiger Geruch durchs Gebiet (Reinigung einer Hundfutter Fabrik)
