We stayed for two nights over the week-end. Very friendly and helpful host. Rooms were very clean and comfy and have a great view of the sand dunes and mountains. Breakfast was great especially the cheese omelete and variety of other items muesli, yogurt, a big fruit platter and lovely muffins. The only disapointment being no sea / beach view from room or terrace as huge dunes block it even from upper floor.

A beautiful building with a beautiful wooden deck at the upper floor. Rooms are very clean. Feels like you're the first one to stay in the room. Great to watch the smoky mountains through open big doors, lying on your comfortable bed, wind blowing into your room with the sound of the waves. It was writing beach-sea view when booking but there was just a long hill of sand between the house and the beach. Still recommended. Please note that you need a car to stay here, like most of the other Hout Bay accommodation.

“We really enjoyed our stay at Villa HoutBay, the staff was very welcoming and so was the sweet Armani! The views were beautiful and it was lovely to come home to at the end of a long tiring day. We were able to invite a couple of guests for breakfasts at the pool and enjoyed some lounging as well. Our dog was welcomed which made our stay even better. “It was clean, in a location that is safe, has many restaurants and a shopping centre at its door step, within walking distance to the CBD, V&A Waterfront and easy to board transportation to the beaches. Most of all, the reception was warm, friendly and very helpful with information, sightseeing tips, and helped to book taxis. They even went out of their way to check and book Robben island tour for me online on an earlier date when the operator said that date wasn't available.
