Gorgeous room . Amazing views . Food was amazing and great value. Staff were very helpful. We loved this hotel .
Location, nice rooms and great bathroom. Good breakfast.
Everything was fine
I think we booked a luxury double with an extra bed. It was gorgeous. Loads of space, sitting area was great, ding table and 4 chairs in the room, bathroom huge with lovely slipper bath and massive walk in shower.
It was so quiet when we stayed - maybe everyone was in the Casino but no one in the bar so no atmosphere. I t would have been nice to sit in the bar but our 14 year old was not allowed in so we had to sit in the very comfortable but deadly quiet foyer to have a night cap.
The staff rendered excellent personal service to us. The highlight of the evening was when they brought us a special dish for dessert....with a marriage proposal written in chocolate on it.
Location...friendly staff..reasonable pricing...near PE Airport
Beautiful Hotel - friendly staff - excellent facilities - shops and casino nearby
Overall feel of comfort
Speaker system at pool was loud - could hear the music the whole night and prevented a relaxing sleep.
Possibly the most gorgeous hotel I have ever stayed in! We had the most beautiful room, we are just so sad that we were only there for one night! Wonderful hotel!
That we were only there for one night!
The hotel is excellent, all needed amenities available, we really enjoyed our stay.
Housekeeping came for our turndown service while we were getting ready to go out for dinner, we asked them to come back in 20 minutes. When we came back from dinner we were disappointed to find that they ever came back. That was our only complaint.
The staff were very helpful. It was our honeymoon, and they had rose petals and chocolates on our bed. they also brought up a small bottle of bubbly to our room. The breakfast was amazing - great choice. The location was also very good - within a few yards of the boradwalk restaurants and bars.
It was quite hard to find the parking entrance of the hotel - we arrived at various entrances to be told we have to park elsewhere.
Some staff need a little more training.
I specified rooms side by side for the family when I booked. I reiterated it when I checked in (my family arrived later) They still separated us. I booked an airport pickup for my family the night before they arrived and they were left stranded at the airport. Not 5 star service !!
Had a wonderful stay and were looked after in every way by the friendly efficient staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Port Elizabeth.
good facilities and lovely restaurant
huge problem with booking via booking.com. Ended paying in advance for 2 out of 3 rooms and then paying for all 3 on check in. If I had not worked it out, we would have paid twice. Simply dreadful system.
Rooms are lovely, bed is super comfy. It is nice that all rooms have a sea view. The staff are very sweet - if a little stiff and formal, but still friendly and eager to help. Breakfast at the main restaurant is good
Room service food is a bit hit and miss
Good location and excellent staff
Food choices especially room service poor. Breakfast was exception and was good. Wifi was poor - slow when it worked and sometimes didn't work at all
The hotel was very busy but people made the effort to assist me.
Everything was to our satisfaction!
The stay was just to short!
Lovely hotel, beautiful bathroom, very attentive & helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere
Front desk was very helpfull.
I wanted to park my car on basement and one assistant promised to send someone in my room, I waited till I left. I needed the room fridge to be open for use and was informed that it will cost R500 which I oked. Till the next day, nothing happen.
EVERYTHING! The food was excellent as well.
Many good restaurants around; great location; room was beautiful and spacious, with a really nice view.
The pillows were terrible. They felt like a bag full of cotton balls or something like that.
Breakfast was great, staff were friendly. Beds were super comfy
Arrived to find our booking was cancelled because they hadn't received our deposit from our booking(which was made on this website and I have never had to pay an extra deposit before and never received any emails to inform me of this!!) I had booked a room with a balcony and the one they put us in didn't have one, just sliding doors looking over the pool area and seaviews, which was ok, but left me feeling annoyed because I specifically requested a private balcony. Not sure who's to blame... booking.com or them. To be honest, for the amount of money we spent, I was expecting more....
We only stayed for one night as a stop en route elsewhere. Lovely resort style hotel reminded me more of usa than sa
