Perfect location to discover Cape town. Close to Kloof street and Table mountain. Very good restaurants nearby. Also very safe neighborhood with good parking area around. Nice and helpful landlord. Just one concern. The fan was very loud. Nevertheless we would stay again here, we would just ask for a room upstairs.
great location. safe and lovely host. close to am amazing massarge place.
Conveniently located at top end of Kloof Street with its busy restaurants and bars. Close to major roads to beaches and city. Friendly, laid back atmosphere.
Friendly and very helpful staff - the location is great - within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.
Really nice hosts and a beautiful walk through the park to downtown
As in most places the wifi is rather slow else nothing to groan about
Excellent area where I feel safe walking to the nearby restaurants.
convenient location in city centre, quiet room, friendly homely feel.
The location is fantastic, near Kloof street that has tons of nice restaurants and bars. It is walking distance to the loop and a quick cab ride away from Table mountain. The guest house is simple yet very charming. The guests were very nice and friendly.
The bed was rather small for a couple and the room was very hot at night. There was a ventilator, but it was so noisy that we did not turn it on. I wish the superior room had been available. Also the wifi is really really slow; we ended up buying 3G cards at Vodacom.
Very vriendly and helpful owners. Rod drove all the way to the airport, at no cost to me, to bring me my credit card that I left in the card machine. Thank you Rod.
Location is excellent in a nice and safe street, locations for breakfast around the corner. Every morning you can take coffee or make tea at your room, and have a delicious piece of homemade banana bread or muffin. We spent a week and we're happy to be there.
Great location, close to centre but quiet. Really friendly staff. Good contact.
The wooden floor is very old and makes a lot of noise when someone is wallibg mainly when you are on the first floor and has someone just under your head. The air circulator (To be honest i have no idea how to call it) makes A LOT of noise is very annoying!!!!! They dont have breakfast but are good located.
Excellent location, next to restaurants (we even found an Iranian restaurant nearby) and the hop-on hop-off bus stop. The room was pretty large and clean with a balcony opening in the street.
Very basic breakfast.
The central Gardens location! the access to the red and blue line tour bus was fantastic. I enjoyed the local restaurants. and after two weeks of climbing hiking and safaris the local laundry was awesome! The guest house owners were very helpful.
I really have no complaints!
Location is super-- good restaurants near by, many attractions close. The inn keeper, Rod, is very pleasant and helpful..excellent service. Nice continental breakfast, with fresh muffins...
Nothing...all was good.....we stayed twice on our trip to So Africa.....
The breakfast The dirty sponge on the sill in the bathroom The musty smell in the room
I liked the kitchen facilities and they were very helpful in answering our questions about Cape Town.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, the facilities were clean and the location was amazing as we had to be at the hospital every day which is right around the corner.
The TV's in the rooms may be a bit outdated, I know you don't go on holiday to watch tv but for us it was a bit disappointing to have to watch SABC.
No heating system, wooden floor is very cranky and makes lots of noise.
We like very much the room, the staff and the location!
Very friendly manager, helpful in arranging further plans, informative. Nice atmosphere and possibility to meet some interesting other travelers,
Quiet street but handy to restaurants, gardens, main thoroughfares etc. We had the front twin room with a balcony - perfect for our needs.
Tania was super efficient and the room was squeaky clean. Very well situated in Cape Town and we will stay at Cape Colonial Guest House again. Thanks.
No desk/facility to work in the room.
