With great Atlantic Ocean views, The Ritz is just 1000 ft from the beach and minutes from the V&A Waterfront. It boasts the only revolving restaurant in Cape Town.

The Brookston is located in the suburb of Brooklyn, within 9 km from the Cape Town city centre and V&A Waterfront. The Canal Walk Shopping Centre is a 15-minute drive away.
Score from 13 reviews Excellent
Overlooking one of Cape Town's top shopping venues - the V&A Waterfront, this property benefits from a desirable location, affordable rates and panoramic views.
Score from 37 reviews Good
The blinds in room 501 let in too much light, especially in the morning. In the evening there is no curtain to avoid people in the opposite parking building to look in. That is not comfortable. Suggestion. There should be a copy of the restaurant menu in the room to make ordering to the room easy. Suggestion : Provide quotes with breakfast, dinner and parking facility included for government employees. Many employees have to attend meetings and training in town, and it is comfortable to have everything available at one place.
Location value for money view from the 9th floor helpfulness of staff assistance with late check out for 12h00 provided
Stayed on 9th floor , however , reception did not offer to explain how to get there as lift only goes to 9th floor . Another staff member I got in the lift , explained . Reception staff was friendly though . We were 2 in the room, however , only 1 bath sheet was provided .
Good location, friendly and accommodating staff but definitely will not book here again if I have a choice.
The initial room offered was on the first floor. Lots of street noise and asked to change my room. Next room offered was on the ninth floor -- but elevator did not go to 9th floor -- only as far as the 8th and then would have to take the stairs. Eventually settled for room on 3rd floor - less noisy but no heating/air condition or refrigerator. Was a cold wet night and was shivering without heat in my room.
what I liked most was the atmosphere in the hotel. everyone was happy and ready to make you feel good.
Friendliness of staff and room was very cosy. Breakfast was value for money.
The only setback was the ironing board was basically broken.
The Hotel is located in the city center.
No heaters in the rooms.
I liked the location of the Hotel. secure parking and the view from the 9th floor.
NO LAUANDRY ATTENDANT TOO BAD
The stuff started shouting at me for oversleeping on the checking out date, she literally kicked me out. Housekeeping never came back to clean the room. It was only cleaned once for my 5 day stay!!
Nice big room, clean and comfortable, good location.
The bed was excellent. The balcony was awesomeness and I really liked it. Beautiful bathroom. Nice reception staff. Even if there was just 1 person. Not cool.
The room was a little small but comfortable. The colour of the toilet paper is ugly. 1 person at reception is very inconvenient coz he had to answer the phone... check us in and deal with other guest which means I was not his main concern. Please put more staff on your front desk and make them stand. Sitting gives a bad impression. Very nice hotel. And the lift hooooooooo please fix it. Room service took 45 minutes witch I didn't like but I was hungry and the food was nice aswell but use 4 slices of bread for the chick and mayo sandwich not 6 my God my wife couldn't finish her chips after all that bread. Overall I would go back... it was great.
Good clean hotel, helpful and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Close to centre of town. Can get a night cap in the bar after a few down Longstreet. Yep, if you're in Cape Town for a few nights you could do worse than stopping here...
Can't grumble really.
The location is perfect.
The lifts are rather scary.
Staff tried hard. Staff were friendly and polite. rooms are clean.
We asked for a two prong adapter plug to charge cellular phones. We were told to leave our phones in reception over night to charge (really). on 2nd request we had no response. food was average. The street noise does disturb one's night sleep. Parking facilities are an extra R70 a day.
Nice clean rooms
The lady at check in Ashliegh was not friendly and hardly smiled. Felt like I was checking to prison.
The location is priceless!!! Staff very helpful and friendly. Good value for money if a discounted rate can be had.
I have been in 3 different rooms; all were quite small. A good overhaul of a few areas would be good, generally a bit tired, e.g. chipped surfaces...
Perfectly located in the heart of Cape Town ! Beds are comfortable and large. The bar fridge is a plus, allowing guests to store fresh milk, a bottle of wine etc.
Housekeeping was a bit off. Sometimes we did not have enough towels and by that I mean only one large towel in a double room. Other times we had no sweeteners for coffee. Consistency in this regard could be a huge improvement. I must add that it was immediately rectified by calling reception.
The hotel is close to...cool places
The staff are very helpful and try really hard. Some of the admin systems they use are a bit backward and not very efficient.
The breakfast has definitely gone downhill since last I stayed there. the air-con in my room didn't work - it was extremely hot. Internet vouchers were not available on one of the days - The internet charges are pretty steep.
there's quite a bit of difference between the rooms. My room at the top floor was very nice.
The room at the first or second floor was not so great. I was happy to leave the room and move to the top floor.
Great, centrally located hotel. All Walking distance and Waterkant, V&A a leisurely stroll away. Room while not enormous big, offered enough room for two People and definetly for the price charged. Secure parking is available in the car park next to the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Had breakfast once as it suited us and buffet was good. One is in the city centre, so with open windows in a room facing the street, some noise can be heared but that is totally normal for any city centre hotel. To wrap it up, very good middle class hotel and great value for money.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't do enough to help my colleague and I who were there to conduct interviews.
Rooms very hot at night. Fans rather than A/C.
I was very disappointed as I requested a room with a double bed and balcony and non of those were met. I will therefore not make a booking or recommend this hotel in future.
The location is very convenient.
The internet was problematic to set up. Only 100 MB are free per day, any more needs to be paid for.
