With free Wi-Fi and rooms offering Atlantic Ocean and mountain views, The Clarendon Fresnaye was previously owned by the Cape governor and the Earl of Clarendon. The restaurant terrace overlooks the sheltered pool and lush garden. Individually designed, the stylish, air-conditioned rooms at this boutique hotel have luxury linen and a modern bathroom, some with a double basin. All feature satellite TV, a minibar and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast is served daily and complimentary tea, coffee and cakes are available in the afternoon. Barbecue facilities are also provided. The V&A Waterfront, with its many restaurants, is less than 10 minutes by car. Set in the exclusive Cape Town suburb of Fresnaye, The Clarendon is 8 minutes’ walk from Clifton Beach. Cape Town International Airport is under 30 minutes’ drive and within 1 hour are the rolling winelands and Table Mountain. Not much Was placed in a converted basement room below the dining room. We could here people walking till 11h30 and the it started again at 04h50. We could not sleep and the next day a participated in a cycle race with only getting in 4 and a hald hours sleep. They refunded the stay for a night and upgraded us to a better room.

I liked everything about this lovely small boutique hotel. No bar but if you are out all day it does not matter The lovely staff could not do enough for you. It would suit most people. Cannot say there was anything I did not like

Accueil fantastique, personnel avenant, qualité des produit, on se croirait chez soi avec des personnes aux petits soins pour vous. Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit avec regret. Dommage que la maison soit si près d'une route passante et bruyante.

Un personnel aux petits soins, accueil personnalisé, café & gâteaux ... avec le sourire ! Internet illimité & gratuit. Très belle déco dans une grande chambre, excellente literie. 2 piscines dans un joli jardin, on se sent un peu "comme à la maison"... Petit déjeuner copieux. Hôtel idéalement situé près du bord de mer dans avenue très calme. à recommander !!
