The staff was so very attentive, informative and pleasant to be around. It was a pleasure to be around them.
I love all of it.
Staff very attentive, rooms all modern and stylish, good facilities and food and drink.
Pool small and at times it's open to non hotel guests, meaning sun beds in sun were limited or not available.
Friendly Helpful staff, Welcome from the owner, clean and spacious rooms.
Slow breakfast service and no feedback from reception re our dinner reservation
everything. The service level is very high level. Especially the car which was rented by the hotel is unique. We definitely would go back again in case we would visit Cape Town.
we liked everything.
The level of service in the main was as good as I have had anywhere
Some times staff can be over attentive!
Great food, terrace and pool. Very comfortable room and bed. Wonderful staff from the top down.
Lovely hotel, attentive staff, spacious bedroom, quiet location.
The Glen was the perfect location for our first trip to Cape Town. Wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful location.
First rate staff who couldn't be more helpful. Great breakfast and wonderful ambience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
The room was lovely staff were good. In all was impressed with everything
There was a private party from when we arrived at 15h00 till 20h00 that evening. We did not know of this and we couldn't use the pool area to relax.
Superb staff, best service grade experienced so far. Very flexible and guest orientated. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated rooms.
The Staff is awesome and the style of the hotel very nice
We had a beautiful suite.
There was a 'pool party' when we arrived on the Saturday. Not a big issue.
Large Room size Incredible breakfast spread Great hosts and very helpful with planning our day and suggesting places to see. really felt like we received individual attention.
Could not connect to the wifi but did not get a chance to follow up with anyone as to why.
Super friendly staff and great pool area!
Staff is exceptional, they make sure you feel great. Breakfast was great, too, with a vast choice of quality food. We loved the pool and the athmosphere at the pool deck, it felt like a mediterranean beach resort in the middle of a residential area. The Sea Point waterfront is just a a short walk and Clifton Bay or City Bowl just a short drive away.
Nothing really except maybe that we should have double checked that the bed in the Standard Room is really narrow for two (and the room rather small)
relaxing pool area friendly staff room ambiance and bath products spa bar area clean and comfortable bedding
average breakfast bad smell at hotel entrance
I have stayed here previously and again I can say nothing negative. Thebstaff is friendly and efficient, location is great and facilities are good. I will stay here again. Thank you to the Management and Staff for making my stay so pleasant
What was amazing was that each employee that worked there picked up/folded/responded etc if something it was out of place. Breakfast is a feast. The décor is meticulously done. The product range they stock (Rain) is absolutely amazing! Mark, Philip and Phil are a true face of what hosting should be.
Had to go and cancel my spa appointment after 40 min of informing the reception, 10min prior to my booking, that I'm set. I came in where there was a huge debate about who made the mistake with my booking. Breakfast = delayed gratification.
very friendly service from the watering and cleaning staff
As a gay couple we chose this hotel since it was advertised as a gay hotel- most gay people are people who do not stay in hotel and they occupy all the sunbeds so that the hotel guests cannot get any-unless you want to run down first thing in the morning to put your towel like in a cheap all inclusive hotel... hotel rooms are not sound proof- you here everything- loud pool parties make it very noisy. we had to put a towel in the door to make it close properly. bedside lamps were broken and fixed with celoape. I never complain about mony, but that kind of thin you woud not expect in a room for 300 euros a night. Very unhelpful and arrogant management/owners. Don't try and complain, because instead of helping you might get shouted at. money gets charged on the day of booking although it states free cancellation. all in all there many better places to stay in cape town be it gay friendly or not.
We stayed here on the last night of our holiday and it was wonderful, the staff are excellent and they really seem to know what their guests expect, our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, I cant praise this hotel and their staff highly enough. don't miss out.
That we couldn't stay a bit longer
Attentive service Great breakfast selection Good menus Clean rooms
Location is a fair walk to the beach, but once on-premises, it is very pleasant.
Staff and owners are fantastic, they bend over backwards. So friendly they make you feel totaly welcome
