    The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They always checked in with us and did whatever they could to help us out from calling taxis to booking day trips. The breakfast was delicious and the room was really nice. Beautiful hotel!

    The internet was spotty in our room and water pressure sometimes was a little weak.

    Staff friendly,helpful and professional. Beautiful hotel with special touches like the scented oil burner in the bathroom. Tomatoe soup fabulous and I don't normally like tomatoe soup. Would gladly recommend The Glen.

    The pillows are terrible but that's true for every hotel I've visited.

    I stayed in from 30 July to 2 August. I love every corner of this hotel especially their services. Everyone wear the smiles no matter what happened. Highlights for my stay are 1. Sunset view from my room (really stunning, room number 22) 2. Tomato soup (make me feel like coming back home) 3. The early breakfast (around 6.15 am) for my day trip Never ever felt like happiness and peaceful from any hotel i have traveled so far. will highly recommend to my friends and will definitely stay again.

    Good location, with all amenities on walking distance. I got complimentary room upgrade plus a late checkout. This helped my plan a great deal. Clean rooms and courteous staff, especially the front desk manager. He is a very helpful nature and acts swiftly on request. Loved the experience, probably will choose it when I visit next time (hopefully with family)

    Street signage is good but hotel signage could be improved. I missed it at the time of check-in and one of my friends also missed it. Minor issue though.

    From the time of booking until we left the hotel at the end of our holiday we received a first class service from everyone at this hotel. Special mention to Phillip the concierge who went the extra mile ( in fact over 100 ) to give us the best possible holiday, giving up his day off to drive us to hermanus for a whale watching trip, also to Abu who was our driver on two brilliant days out around the wine regions and to cape point. Breakfast and the two meals we had at hotel were excellent quality, a truly memorable 6 days spent in total luxury

    Didn't have time to stay longer.

    From the staff to the room design, this hotel made my time in Cape Town exceptional. The breakfast, staff service, and cleanliness of The Glen made my experience as a solo traveller one to remember. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    We arrived late in the evening and were collected from the airport by one of The Glen's drivers (arranged by email the day before). The rooms are very large, have an Apple computer in and unlimited wi-fi, great for business use. I booked here as it had the highest online reviews and we had an early morning start the next day, so literally just wanted a bed for the night but it exceeded all of my expectations and had I known how good it would be, we would have stayed the entire duration of our time here. It was fantastic, especially at the price, but had I paid four times as much I would have still been impressed!

    Nothing to not like.

    Great staff, attentive, will do everything to make your stay even more pleasant. Well decorated rooms and common areas, great location, and really good price! It does not get any better than this for the price range.

    No covered parking, it was very raining weather when we were there. Very limited parking, only 8 bays, we had to squeeze our car in a small gap. I requested a blanket and was given a thin bed spread. The hotel had no blankets. We are from Durban and was used to hot weather and felt very cold in CPT. I had the aircon on heat - 28 degrees, the staff switched off the main power 3 different times without telling us. I was unable to switch it on and it was freezing in our room. That night my husband had a cold shower. We did not complain because it was 11pm. The next morning I took a shower at 7am and i had a luke warm shower. It was a very cold morning and I was very upset. We had to leave at 8:30am to our client to be there at 9am. i then called the manager, Phil, i complained about the cold shower and the aircon being switched off. He said he will check on the power for the aircon and explained that the gyser was solar powered and had to wait 15 - 20 mins fo rthe water to heat up again since 3 other guests downstairs just had a shower. I was furious. We should have been warned about this on arrival. It was very inconvenient since we were on a business trip and had no time to spare. My husband called the manager back and told him that it was unacceptable. He then offered him to use another to shower and then come back to the room we were staying in. That is just crazy. We were not prepared to go out in the cold and carry our clothing from room to the next. it was cold and raining and it was a boutique hotel so we had to go outdoors to move from one room to the next. The manager came to the room explaining the same about the gyser being solar powered and felt it was okay for us to wait 20 mins for it to heat up. We said we were going to be late for the meeting. He very rudely said, there was nothing he could do. We said we had no choice but to leave this unfit 4 star hotel and look for other accomodation. He once again was very rude.

    Fantastic place. Phillip Phil and all staff gave personal attention. Phillip is amazing and he plan our 6 day stay and made it really amazing. Staff are lovely smiling and helpful. I am grateful to them for making holiday memorable

    This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed my stay at the Glen Boutique Hotel. The staff were exceptional in friendliness, service and knowledge. The meals were excellent and the breakfast was something to look forward to every day. The hotel itself had excellent facilities and the rooms were beautiful. I never wanted to leave.

    I stayed at the Glen with my Mom and the service we received was beyond what we would have expected! It felt like the Staff had known us for years and we were close friends! Leaving was so sad and they were kind enough to invite us right back! The food was amazing and our room was beautiful and luxurious! We felt like Queens! Thank you so so much! Will def be going back in summer! Thobeka Bushwane

    The staff were incredibly friendly. Beautiful and comfortable in all rooms. Breakfast was almost our favorite part of everyday. We got engaged whilst there and they upgraded us to the Penthouse for free which was above expectations. Would not miss this place or the opportunity to basque in their great service and comfort.
