The Grange Guest House  

My time at The Grange Guest House was awesome! Annelie Wada as well as her family and her employees were so friendly and helpful. I got assistance always when needed (driving infos, tipps for shopping, tipps for behaviour, safety infos,...) At the end of my stay, I was even invited to join a private party taking place at The Guesthouse! The Grange Guest House is located in Durban North, a few hundred meters away from a couple of restaurants and shopping centers. When I ever come back to Durban, I will definitely stay again at The Grange!

There is nothing in The Grange that you could not like: the house is very beautifully renovated, has a beautiful garden and a lovely terrace. Hosts and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They cook a fantastic breakfast, each morning with a different treat. The rooms are lovely, each one different and designed with care and great taste. In short: a true home from home.

We loved Annelie and her little doggie Dubie. The people were very friendly there and extremely helpful. The location also is amazing - close to everything you might need, in a cute little part of Durban, also a really short drive from the Marine World (which is tons of fun!) and the beaches:)

Very friendly staff and good food! The rooms are comfortable clean and of a good size. The place is very well maintained. The personal touch is the icing on the cake

It was a very easy stay, no fuss. We were made to feel comfortable and relaxed.

The Grange is pure comfort. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and our every need was taken care of during our stay there. No expense has been spared when it comes to cleanliness and comfort. We will definately go back!

Bijzonder vriendelijke gastvrouw, zeer schoon, nieuw ingericht, prachtig uitzicht, kamer 6 heeft een geweldig eigen balkon, heerlijk ontbijt, veilige omgeving, absoluut aan te raden zowel voor een zakenlijk als de toeristisch verblijf!

Optimale prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Echt een hele mooie locatie!

There was no enough parking place, and no space for sitting and relax in the public area. (balcony)

Die Lage ist super, man ist schnell in der Stadt. Das Haus ist auch toll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Zudem liegt das Haus in einer schönen Gegend in Durban und trotzdem ist man fix in der City. Mit dem Auto oder auch zu Fuß liegt ein Supermarkt und Restaurants in direkter Umgebung.

Die Informationen, die man von der Dame des Hauses bekommt, sind ein wenig veraltet. Wir wollten von Deutschland aus eigentlich eine Fahrradtour durch Durban buchen, aber sie meinte, dass man alles ohne Probleme vor Ort am Tag der Anreise buchen kann. Dies war dann nicht der Fall und von ihr kam nur ein "Was wollt ihr euch auch schon anschauen"...fanden wir sehr blöd. Besonders weil sie noch nicht mal wusste, wo eine Touri Info ist. Das Guesthouse ist schön, aber von der Besitzerin sind keine brauchbaren Infos zu Durban etc. zu erhalten.

Modern very nicely furnished one bedroom cottage in the grounds of a guest house. Swimming pool and beautiful garden. Well equiped and in safe location. Shops nearby for food or take away meals so no need to cook on holiday. Good value.
