Our internationally famous English style cooked breakfast or extensive continental breakfast is personally prepared by Diana to order each morning. We serve fresh home-baked scones, muffins and croissants to complement the selection of some 38 homemade preserves and jams, fruit juices and plenty of fresh fruit.

In a peaceful and secure garden setting, these 4 very spacious, elegant and individually decorated rooms are all air conditioned and furnished with fine handcrafted furniture, antiques, beautiful original paintings, prints and photographs.
Area information
Situated on the N2, approximately 240 km from both Cape Town and George, Swellendam is the perfect choice for a halfway stopover or as a base from which to explore the area. Nestling at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, Swellendam has much to offer visitors who have an interest in history, nature and outdoor activities.

By Car:
- Travelling from Cape Town on the N2:
- When you reach the Swellendam East turnoff, turn left.
- Then take the 2nd street on the left.
- We are the 3rd house on your left, Hermanus Steyn Street number 10.
Travelling from Knysna or Mossel Bay on the N2:
- When you reach the Swellendam East turnoff, turn right.
- Then follow the instructions above.
