Great location, clean room
No air cons - just fans
quietness and calmness
It is in a very good location, and the staff were friendly.
The shower didn't drain and there was no hot water in the basin tap. I found it very noisy as the room across from me had their television booming. The TV itself was very outdated and the signal was not clear which put me off watching it.
doors have big gaps, sound travel far into hallways.
Exit & Entrance need to be improved for ease of access
Nice boutique hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast. If you're looking for a place to stay in Walmer then you will be a happy customer here.
No shuttle service. Had to catch a cab.
Neat, and and well appointed.
Relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff Good Food
My stay was too short.
Clean and good value. Close to beaches
The only complaint I have is that the shower did not work properly. It took ages to get hot and the when you managed to get the correct tempreture the spray was inadequate to have a decent shower. When the spray was right the water was cold.
Rooms were a nice size, comfortable and quiet.
There is no aircon in the rooms and they tend to get very hot during the day.
The cleanliness and friendly staff
No food or snacks, no heated pool
Location, Large rooms.
All rooms have King beds so when two people are in the room who do not share a bed ( My daughter and I) you end up with two single beds.Very uncomfortable.Rooms large enough to take two Doubles at least.Honor bar where Front office staff have to unlock for you, located in the lounge, only Wine and Beer. Dinner can be arranged with 48 hours notice.Outside catering company. Star rated as a 3Star Guest House but call themselves a Boutique Hotel??? A Boutiques Hotel should be small intimate with all the facilities, a bit different.Explanation for 3 star Guest House rating to Boutique Hotel " Something to do with the amount of rooms " Shower Divider leaked badly so bathroom floor covered with water and toilet kept on flushing. Reported, understand that with Public Holiday could not be fixed, but obviously been that way for a while.Soap dish in bath fell off. Entrance door rattled, so when room next door had windows open and there is a wind, both their entrance door and ours rattles ( at 3.30 am ) When front office staff not at Desk, kitchen ( I think) staff stood or should I say lent on desk and never greeted guests coming in?
