Situated at the tip of Thesens Island, Lofts Boutique Hotel offers uniquely themed accommodations and extensive spa treatments with an outdoor swimming pool. All with stunning views of Knysna Lagoon. The Lofts boutique Hotel offers contemporary designed rooms decorated with wooden beams. Each room has large sliding doors opening to a private balcony or patio facing the lagoon. The rooms come with satellite TV, tea/coffee maker and extra long beds. At Le Spa Tranquill, guests can enjoy treatments ranging from shower scrubs to hot stone therapy. The pool deck is almost all surrounded by the lagoon and offers a great way of digesting a day of spa. Knysna Golf Club is less than 15 minutes of driving from the hotel. The Knysna Waterfront with its bars and restaurants is within half a mile. Free private parking is available on site. Good location Booked and paid for a two-bedroom suite, but was informed on arrival that they only have a one bedroom suite. No lagoon view from balcony. No air conditioning in bedroom. A suggestion is to supply mosquito repellents please

I loved the way they have created a hotel from a former factory. Interesting architecture with suspended walkways leading to some rooms. Quiet and restful, generally. A great breakfast place next door, Ile de Pain. Outstanding! They play new age mellow muzak during the daytime to create a relaxed, zen atmosphere. I didn't work for me, as the music infiltrated my room because I wanted to keep my windows open to catch some of the nice ocean breeze.

We had a great stay at the Lofts Boutique hotel. Thesen island is a very beautiful place and Knysna is a good "hub" for lots of things to do around the area. The island is very sleepy and it may take a little while to get used to the slow pace, but overall a very nice hotel in a very nice location.

das Hotel ist absolut genial und sehr individuell, das Gebäude war einst eine kleine Bootswerft, die komplett restauriert und umgebaut wurde tolle Lage direkt am Wasser schön eingerichtete, sehr individuelle Zimmer, absolut sauber, sehr geräumig und mit großer Dachterrasse Kanu/Kajak zur kostenlosen Benutzung, ebenso zwei Fahrräder süßer kleiner Pool, taugt aber nicht zum Schwimmem, ist eher etwas fürs Auge

Gostamos de tudo, o self catering é excelente, a localização também. O único problema, foi o barulho de manhã. Uma camareira tentou entrar em nosso quarto muito cedo, enquanto ainda estavamos dormindo. Os funcionários do Spa, que funciona no local, também não respeitavam o silencio de manhã.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass das Hotel in einer ehemaligen Fabrik sich befindet. Somit kann man auch die Bauweise und den speziellen Charme verstehen. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig. Das Frühstück kann man bei diversen Anbietern einnehmen. Der Pool ist eher klein und wird nicht beheizt. Das Internet darf noch optimiert werden

The breakfast vouchers is a very good idea. Open kitchen use was fantastic. Coffee machine is a treat although paying for it is a wonderful self service - service provided. Checking out was a problem. Contacting the lady explaining our situation - she was irritated with us when discussing it over the phone with her. Call was not returned the first time. Guests leaving the side door open when coming back late is also unsafe. May a self lock door will be better option.
