Hotel Flooring Travertine tiles looks very bad at the entrance and the foyer of the Hotel. Carpet at the staircase is not in good condition , smelly and un-clean. Lift facilities are not in good condition and noisy.
Free uncapped Wi-Fi. Excellent Breakfast.
Water was cold, battled to get hot water. bed was very uncomfotable
Friendly staff, helpful
Not actually a bad experience but the lift needs some attention. Also the parking which I paid for not always available.
The breakfast was very good
Problems with the Dstv SS1. We couldn't watch the rugby and the bed. We could feel the springs. Since our previous stay the matresses are still the same. Not good.
The free wifi and friendly and helpfull reception :-) Thumbs up for Johan and Riaan!!!
I only wish the mechanism of operation of the lifts be re-config ured to allow for a smoother landing after take off
The staff are extremely nice to their customers. Offering help to whatever need they possibly can afford. The rooms were neat always and for the value for money, this is one of the best options available. will definately book this hotel the next time i visit cape town!
No parking in front of the hotel, the night porter first said I can park in the other hotel parking space then the night manager said I could not!!!
- Located in a grimy area of the business district - Felt unsafe to park my car outside the hotel, paid R80 for overnight underground parking - Some facilities like the elevator and bathroom tiles look aged
Parking arrangement, breakfast staff, housekeeping attention to detail.
Breakfast, friendly reception, warm and cosy interior, comfortable beds :) Best value for money!!
Friendly staff, good WiFi and decent breakfast.
The pillows were uncomfortable.
The location for my purposes for the stay and the breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.
Staff need training ... The one person who stood out as being wonderful and giving the guest experience was Alida ... hope that is her name... at reception front of house. Was there for 2 nights ... your staff were generally unfriendly and not overly approachable. Disappointing. Customer experience is key and with a smile would be wonderful.
Cleanliness.... hotel modernised
The staf is very unproffesional and clueless. They have no unbderstanding of hote hotel guest are to be treated. I was woken up by house keeping banging on my door and just walking in while I was sleeping. There seems to be no communication between the staff as to which rooms are occupied. A group of peaple asked to g=have coffee at the hotel and when told that there would be about ten geust having coffee the staff told them they wont be able to serve coffee to 10 people. Very disappointing!!!
The Location of the hpotel was perfect!! Couldnt have asked for a better location
Selection of TV channels was pathetic
It was clean
We had asked for a camp cot when we booked. But there wasn't one available. The aircon didn't work Had to ask for towels every night. Very frustrating
The night manager went out of his way to assist with a camp cot.
Everthing manager must give more attention to hotel and staff. And make plan for parking. Wil not go ever again to that hotel and wil not send someone there. Space to small to right all the problems. i felt unwelcome there.
Doors have no soft-closers, every guest seems to slam their doors during the night. Physical location poor, lots of loud people passing through square at night. Had to pay R70 for parking on exit, no info about costs upon entry. Very little/no available parking. WiFi signal strength fluctuating alot, not good if you have work to do. Although photos on website are appealing, the hotel is old which is very evident in some places. Lift is very Retro and small, stops very suddenly and gives you that feeling that it is unsafe/dodgy. Rather took the stairs after the first trip.
Beds were clean and comfortable Room was fair size for Family Breakfast was reasonable Geographical location close to ammenities
Beding and breakfast
Rooms are dirty the capperts and linen
No swimming pool & No free airport shuttle.
That I realy enjoy my breakfast
Run down hotel who asked R70 a day for parking. Very dirty floors
- No room service for drinks. - One of the staff members working at the bar seemed to be under influence of alcohol. - Housing keeping delayed.
- Staff attended to every request urgently. - Staff was very helpful with transport arrangements. - WiFi connection is good.
Terrible staff. Bad lifts. And no towels in the rooms.
The lift was noisy
