The service was excellent with friendly staff prepared to go the extra mile.Whilst in the centre of Umhlanga during one of the busiest periods we found the hotel relaxing, an oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of other holiday makers. The attention to detail was very impressive. Apart from an excellent meal in the Grill Room the food was fair, nothing special, so slightly disappointing.

All the staff are very friendly and greet you. Nothing is too much to assist you with. They make you feel really welcome. The hotel is cosy and very clean and well positioned.

The room (ocean view) was very indeed of good standard, and a great view over the Indian Ocean. I had a bad experience when I booked in, and since | have paid in excess of r4000 per night,I would have expected my room to be ready at 14h00. We ended up getting a room only past 14h30, and the staff member assisting us was extremely unpleasant, and I was eventually assisted by another staff member who eventually assisted us. It wasn't a good start to my short vacation.

Excellent service Seriously expensive in international terms. Still, if the occupancy rate is high (I don't know if it is) then go for it. PS as a very small issue, it would be good to have granulated brown sugar for coffee.

The service and friendliness of the staff surpassed expectations. The Spa treatments and staff (Nomfundo and Faith) was the best I have ever experienced. "World Class" needs to catch up to the offering there. An excellent business centre. Rooms are a bit small.

The location and quality of service is outstanding. The rooms are just too small to be really comfortable. Especially if you have a baby with you.
