Overlooking the Umhlanga Lighthouse and Indian Ocean, Oyster Box Hotel offers an outdoor infinity pool and an expansive spa along with free Wi-Fi. Gateway Shopping Center is one mile away.

The rooms at the 5-star Oyster Box are decorated with rich fabrics and furnishings. They include satellite TV, a lounge area and a tea/coffee maker. In addition, the villas have a private patio and plunge pool.

The Ocean Terraces Restaurant offers fine dining and overlooks the Indian Ocean, while the Grill Bar serves premium steaks and refreshing drinks.

Guests can work out with cardio equipment at the gym, followed by a soothing massage by one of the on-site experts.

The Oyster is 2 miles from Umhlanga Rocks stores and cafés. Free private parking is available.

I had a bad experience when I booked in, and since \| have paid in excess of r4000 per night,I would have expected my room to be ready at 14h00. We ended up getting a room only past 14h30, and the staff member assisting us was extremely unpleasant, and I was eventually assisted by another staff member who eventually assisted us.
