The room was very clean and comfortable.

No shampoo in the bathroom

Extremely spacious & luxurious suite with stunning views. Excellent location, 2 mins walk away from the waterfront and a choice of breakfast venue. Superb accommodation in a great location - would highly recommend.

Room smelled of smoke. Room facilities generally good, but a very odd fetish to limit the number of bars of soap to one!

There was nothing out of the ordinary.

On arrival at the Rex Hotel I was requested to settle the outstanding amount which I did and this has never happened at other hotels I stayed at. The balance would be paid when I booked out. Then when I booked out after my stay I was told that I still owe the outstanding amount. This was a bit embarrasing as the lady was adamant that I still owed. Could have been more efficient with the admin. Staff came to clean our room rather late in the day.

Location

Needs some maintenance - the safe didn't work; the main sliding door to the balcony didn't lock; a cupboard in the kitchen didn't close properly. It is superficially very nice. The reception area is tired and needs a good clean. It's an expensive place to stay relatively speaking and while the room is nice, some extra focus on the little things would make it better.

the hotel rooms are extremely modern and well appointed. they are also very comfortable, new and stylish. the service was excellent and the staff continuously went out of their way to make sure i was happy and had no problems or issues. its very well located and close to several restaurants offering a variety of different cuisines suiting many different tastes. i'd definately stay again and easily recommend it for others.

The Suite was very comfortable and rlaxing and cleanliness was excellent. Dissappointing that only enough Nescafe for one cup each. We loved the fact that we could put the ca ra way and walk to the Waterfront.

Good location, family room is big enough.

Maintenance issues

Very upmarket, private, relaxing and very beautifull. The hotel is located very good: Walking distance to the waterfront & city centre with good rates. Real value for money and they even have rates for singles that most hotels don't offer. I liked the design of the rooms very cozy and beautifull: a mixture between hotel and a self catering unit. The rooms is very spacious. I will definately stay at the Rex hotel again.

I should suggest they should install free Wi-fi for the hotel, However there was payable Wi-fi available. Some people might rather go for a hotel with free wi-fi included.

Location and friendliness and comfort.

Not Much! Was a quiet nights rest.

The way the staff welcomed us. The dining experiance was poor, food was not good and tables were dirty. Would rather even eat at the wimpy.
