View and location!
Bathrooms need a bit of upgrading and maybe furniture is little outdated.
Hotel was run down.
location cleanness restaurante staff
Internet expensive and not good. Should have free wifi.
The restaurant on the 21st floor was fantastic. The meal was awesome and the live music was just incredible. the service was a bit slow, but overall good experience
The overall Experience was pathetic, I waited in the lobby for more than an hour to get a room. The room i was given did not have a lock, and two windows where broken. I was given another room, terribly dirty and the bathroom was leaking, with a horrible smell. I would not recommend this hotel for business travel.
We loved the view from our room
The fact that there are no heaters in the room and the bed wasn't very comfortable
Staff Service Breakfast
Good value Friendly staff Good rooftop restaurant Nice ocean-view
Breakfast Coffeeshop food.
Breakfast was good
Rooms not clean to standards Furniture is old and haggard Bed and pillows sleep awful No shower Poor reception on television and no idea what channels you are watching Overall I suggest the hotel needs to be refurbished and renovated.
The kindness of the stuff
The Staff were all very helpful & the barman even remembered us from 9 years ago!!!! The location is very good with shops & bars, restaurants all nearby, also the beach about a 5 min. walk, also felt very safe. The bedroom had obviously been redecorated but..... Breakfast was pretty good, omelettes very good, but missed the cream cheese we had 9 years ago . ( Used to enjoy it with the toast. )
Whilst the bedroom had been redecorated, the en-suite had been neglected as the basin was very badly cracked could do with replacing !!!!,
The breakfast should show more variety like cheese was not on the open buffet except for one day and only of cheddar type.
Staff were friendly and welling to answer questions. Response to a handyman to repair the door latch was prompt & attended too swiftly.
There was no security at the entrance to show me where to park etc. on my arrival. As i had not been at your hotel before and wasnt familiar with where to go - had to find my own way and ask at reception if I had parked in the right place. Bathroom needs to be updated - still old fashioned. Was not happy when I noted a cockcroach walking across the table in my room just after walking in and had to quickly kill it. The door's latch was broken & had to bring it to someone's attention to be repaired which was done so promptly.
Breakfast was good.
The bright lights in the passage shine through the room door Aircon did not work - room was hot and stuffy The mattress was not comfortable The shower bath combo with a curtain Ran out of hot water in shower The fact that they charge an extra R50 per day for parking was not mentioned previously - include that point in the advert Tea and coffee - had some chinese label - whats wrong with normal five roses and nescafe?
One word everything were awesome.
Tv in the room is old, placed on a trolley that makes viewing uncomfortable Room service was pathetic, food wasn't good Telephone in room not working Breakfast did not have omelettes to serve Staff are noisy in the morning Lifts took forever to get to the floor In the main.. Really not a good experience.
Location and taxi service readily available. Breakfast good.
Air con in room only blew cold air. I froze! Curtains wrong way around. Very noisy guests until 3am. Dining facilities closed too early at night. TV reception not great.
We were impressed about the reception and hospitality of the staff and we enjoyed the food. The maintenance man wasvery helpful in fixing the problem we had in our room.
Due to weather condition the room was quite cold but ther was heating system. We had to change rooms due to the whistling sound on the windows, but again the staff was very quick to arrest the situation.
I liked the restaurant at the top and the room was ok to sleep in.
Could have been cleaner and the bed I could not sleep on my side of the bed the matures was broken the springs had all collapsed. The breakfast could have been better.
We had our wedding reception in your hotel 24 years ago and I thought it would be a little bit of nostalgia to stay a night on my Wife's birthday..............WELL!
Forgive me for sounding rude! You have one of the best real estate locations and have let yourselves down. The place looks like you just have not kept up with the times, from the paint work at the lifts to the corridors, where just the room numbers show no class and are so outdated. The door key should by now be a card system, I actually stepped out and tried to enter to see if the door was going to stay locked!!! The room is devoid of anything on the walls, the curtains have holes, the chair looked like my dogs had played with it for a week and the carpets are stained. Your breakfast is a joke, I had blue bacon??? and last evenings left over stir fry in my omelette! Please do yourselves a favour and check out a show called "Hotel Impossible"
The view from my room was nice.
The shower was small and not working properly. Confusion to start with my booking irretated me. Room service took forever. Also desk told me I could checkout at 12 only to hear in the morning I had to checkout at 11.
