Some of the staff were friendly The decorating needs redoing; some staff were unhelpful and unfriendly; the first night there was a lot of noise and doors slamming; the laundry service is a complete rip-off

There is nothing that I liked about this hotel. This is a low class, third rate hotel. I would (and did) advise colleagues and friends to stay away.

It is located in the city centre, therefore close to the shops, cticc and public transport. They reminded their guests about their bookings prior to their arrival.

The hotel is located close to the Long Street which is one of the main streets of Cape Town. The hotel is old. The bathroom was not perfectly clean, the room was very noisy. One night we have been woken up 4 times in the middle of the night by someone who was insistantly knocking at our door. We didn't feel safe and got a bit scared so we called the reception and the receptionist told us"if you don't know who is behind the door just do not open". Some of the rooms smell very bad, when we checked in they gave us for two times the wrong room. The lift is very very slow, you might wait for it for even twenty minutes if you are on the highest floors.

struggling to think of anything bathroom was dirty, the shower curtains had not been cleaned. floor was dirty and the bath was hideous. There was not even a remote control for the tv. I would not stay at the hotel again. Especially when it costs R600 a night you expect a better service

The hotel was centrally located and the staff quite friendly and helpful The hotel is tired and need updating. There are rooms with broken tiles in bathrooms, light switches that don't work, hair dryers that don't work and air conditioning units with their covers falling off. We booked into this hotel only because Gap used it as the start of their trip.

Fantastic staff and walking distance from cticc. Pretty run down and poor water pressure in the shower. Many other places around at better quality for similar price.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good beer deals at the bar. Central location The shower though worked fine , leaked all over the floor, which became slippery. THe fact that staff had removed and not replaced the shower certain did not help the situation

Friendly and helpful staff. 20 min walk to waterfront and shopping/restaurants/bars. 5-15 mins to arcades, city shopping, museums and gardens. Intimate and friendly bar. Red hop on hop off bus stops nearby. One internet computer available for use. Facilities ok but a little tired. Lifts slow. Be aware of which nearby streets are safe to go down at night. (Staff helpful here). Safe in room did not work but a downstairs safe was available- had no concerns with integrity of staff.

What did i like??? nothing!!! ...well...maybe the size of the room.....only Not recommended at all. Waited 45 minutes to find out that i cant check in to the hotel. Housekeeping laisy, didn't have towells in bathroom and didn't get them even after asking. They just said: "we don't have them - we will give you tomorrow..." They should expect that after 10h flight you want to take shower... The lift is from XIX century. Stayed on 7th floor and waited 10 min every time to get to the lift... Most of the time was just forced to use stairs... I was not expecting anything special but at least clean bathrom shall be the minimum standard. The bath was just dirty. Good maybe for backpackers... but def not for this price. There are much nicer hotels in Cape Town for the same price. We moved after 2 days to Camps Bay which was awesome!

Very central location in the Cape Town city bowl, near to good restaurants and shops. No onsite parking, very poor standard of room, unclean, limited service, breakfast not great. It was cheap but a bed and breakfast for the same price would have been a better option and quality of accomodation. This is really a budget/back packer standard of hotel.

Excellent front desk service, room was clean and very comfortable. Overall, a great value! The internet cut out often, and we had to take the stairs down from our room as the elevator was having trouble for most of our stay as well.

V této cenové relaci a lokalitě se dají sehnat hotely lépe vybavené, s ochotným personálem a dokonce snídaně v ceně.

The location There was no parking; and nothing was said about this before hand; so that arrangements could have been made for this. The aircons are old and rusty. Some area's needed new paint. The bookings only came through when we arrived. The locks only had keys; and anyone can make copies of the keys; and rob clients. Sattelite tv... They only had mnet. No other options than the free sabc channels and e tv
