Good price for very nice room and breakfast

While staff were friendly they did not go out of their way to help.

I was most impressed with the victorian style theme around the hotel as well as the green landscape which provided serinity.

The carpet in the room needs cleaning.

The Wesley is a wonderful place. The staff, the rooms, breakfast, pool, garden,...everything is just amazing.

I was upgraded to the Presidential suite which was huge!

Room only had bath in open bedroom style room although had hand held shower not suitable for showering water goes everywhere & bath not easy to get in & out even if moderately agile

Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Very secure environment without being overbearing. Large, well kept gardens, with pool, for relaxing in.

Victorian roll top bath with handheld shower - awkward for the 'older' client. Believe walk-in showers are available in other rooms.

Very under staffed on the day I stayed over; breakfast room very poorly managed and unappealing.

The room was beautifully furnished, comfortable, and very good value for money. The staff were very friendly, and made sure we had a great stay ( late check-out etc. )

The gym was out of order, and the wi-fi was not available.

Facilities and location is great. Friendly staff and owners. Peaceful island in a busy city. Ideal for business travelers.

The set up of the rooms which where stunning. The overall setting of the Wesley, with the pool area and dining area being very extravagant, and a touch of personal effects which really lifts the place. It was a great experience and would visit The Wesley again.

The check out was a little too early as we spent our anniversary at the Wesley, we weren't expecting the check out to be that early.

Great staff, lovely room, beautiful gardens, quiet and peaceful. Nice break to get some alone time.

Was all great. They need to put a sign up outside though to find it better.

Please provide numbers on the rooms as for MR delivery knocks on every door to find his delivery.

This is the second time that I stayed with The Wesley. It's an extremely comfortable and beautiful hotel. We really enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the common areas.

While the boss, Tina was away this time, we noticed how the breakfast service went down hill. Firstly, non of the tables were made for us. Secondly we had to ask for coffee and milk! Thirdly I asked for a napkin three times before we got it! Also, there was no fruit or muffins on the table like there was previously. When I went to the kitchen to ask for help, I found out that the staff were busy preparing their own breakfasts instead of assisting the clients! I think the boss really needs to make sure that the staff maintain their professionalism and service while she is not present.

Their resort type ambience and their Honesty Bar. The chef Prince was also a very co-operative guy.

They downgraded us to a lower level of room than what was booked by us and only after it was brought to their attention that they offered to refund the money. Their location is pretty isolated and a person can't stay their if they dont have a car. Their Manager Tina does need to get some tips about handling customer complaints and not being rude.

Great location, beautiful gardens, friendly staff, we felt very welcome and are looking forward to our next visit.

It's not that we didn't like anything, but a few ideas that could improve in the room we stayed in (No. 5): Place a mirror near the tv plug for blowdrying hair. Mozzi mat Sweeteners on the tea tray

Friendly staff, safe,

It is very friendly and the staff were helpful. My room was great and the bed comfortable with pillows that you can sleep on! I loved the pool area with the bird life and the whole atmosphere is good wit the honesty bar working well. I felt like I was not even in Johannesburg. It is a very relaxing.

The management and staff are all very friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed, albeit upmarket. The rates are affordable to the average South African. Breakfast is divine. Not a huge selection, but of a high quality and tasteful. There is simply nothing to much for the Wesley to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The staff was so welcoming,the place was so cool and very nice,my husband and i liked everything about The Wesley .We recommend the place to travellers who like quiteness,really the place is very very nice.Thank you Tina keep the good work dear.

Home address is hidden by trees so if they can clear them so that it will be easy for travellers to locate the place.
