Staff friendliness Breakfasts were awesome and well prepared 5th Time staying at Arrabella. This was the best stay thus far. Much improved from previous stay in Aug 2012

Remote, and only one sterile restaurant of the two open with mediocre food

The buffet was great. Massages very good.

The ' a la cart' was poor. There should be a difference between ' French Cousine ' and ' a la cart ' . Your portions were too small and meat overcooked. We went to eat in Kleinmond the last night as only ' a la cart ' was available.

Great location and the spa facilities are amazing.

We ate at the Premier restaurant for Valentines Day. I understand that the set menu would be standardised for so many tables. However they failed to ask us how we wanted our meat cooked an brought it all out done the same. They did cook it differently though when we said something. We also got the wine pairing and the person serving us had to read the label to tell us anything about the wine. What was worse is that they must have decided to get rid of all their terrible wine as only one of four wines was drinkable.

Ambiance,setting and environment are great.

On arrival in our room-coffee cups in cupboard sticky and dirty Saw cleaning lady using the guest hand towel to wipe the floor and polish the handbasin Ordered salmon and risotto at Jamani-risotto still undercooked and hard SPA-back neck shoulder massage substandard- therapist didnt inform us that she was going to do cupping-she was possibly not trained to do it as I was left with sreaks of bruising across my back. Some jets in the hydrotherapy pool were not working effectively and dressing room not cleaned regularly_

We loved the room service! Even though it was the room service menu the food was gourmet and the delivery and presentation of the food was done excellently!

We had to wait rather a long time for service at the bar, probably because the hotel was very quiet and staff were not on duty. We were presented with nibbles, which we were later billed for.

Enjoy the location and the facilities. Not what it used ot be, staff are very friendly and obliging but not too clued up on anything. Definatelly not a serene spa experience. more like a Club Med.

the room service was but it was strange that the always forgot to replace glasses or cups or tea or whatever it is they offer you in the rooms. We could not understand this. For a 5 Star it is somewhat lacking... and never what it used to be in the beginning. The Spa was often over crowded with full of children, not something you would expect for a relaxing serene enviroment. the screaming and shouting down the corridors and stairwells also never gave one the feeling you were at a spa. So perhaps we were there over the wrong time but it was not an overall relaxing experience, which was what we had in mind. In the Cigar bar in the evenining children where playing in there and sticking marshmellows into the fire place and also not quite and relaxing.

It is a wonderfull setting where one can relax, play golf, do some trails and wine and dine.

Das man nur mit creditcard bezahlen kann, das ist in der heutigen Zeit zu gefährlich. Warum nicht per Überweisung entweder in Euro oder von meiner Bank in SA mit R?

Wir bestellten Zimmer mit Einzelbetten, erhielten aber nur ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett! Das war enttäuschend, frustrierend und sehr ärgerlich! Bodo G. Toelstede

Restaurantleistung entspricht in keiner Weise dem Hotel - hier ist dringender Handlungsbedarf

2 x funktionierten die Zimmerschlüssel nicht. Der Service an der Bar war sehr unaufmerksam. Das Essen im separatem Restaurant war am Sonntag entgegen der Ankündigung nicht frisch zubereitet sondern nur aufgewärmt. Der Golfplatz - insbesondere die Grüns - waren in einem schlechten Zustand.

Bietet alles, was man braucht, Rundum-Betreuung. Tolle Badelandschaft.

Roomservice kommt einfach, ungeachtet, ob man gerade im Zimmer ist. Nach dem freundlichen Empfang wurden wir einfach im Zimmer 'abgeladen', ohne die übliche Vorstellung des Zimmers.
