The very friendly and helpful staff. Five star service in a three star hotel.
The high bath and shower was a challenge for two oldies [78 y.o.]
Good position of hotel, lots of taxi exposure, breakfast was good
Our room yet spacious did not have a view, although we noticed a vacant room facing the road, whereas we were given a back room,no night gowns , TV remote did not operate, we asked for a double bed, but got two single beds.
The theme and the staff is friendly.i like the dinning area
I really enjoyed my stay it's a great place with very cool staff:)
Staff are very helpful and friendly
It is very central, next to green market square, in the middle of the nicest coffee shops and restaurants. No fuss, no hassle booking in. Breakfast were absolutely great.
Like most places in the middle of Cape Town there were no parking at the Hotel but they do have a deal with a hospital 2 blocks up that we can use their parking. This is a general problem in central Cape Town.
The room was not clean. Hair from previous user all over the room
i liked the stuff they very helpfull kind and always smiling in a morning aaaah i just love them so great to be with them
i didnt really like the room due to the summer time like this it can be very hot and ontop of that the air condition is not good need a fan and room phones should work aswell also
It is the center of the universee, you litteraly can get to 60% of main attractions on foot... Nightlife is arround the corner
Rooms are not sound isolated, I had hard time to sleep with the main clubs arround the corner
Wifi, room, facilities and service from staff. Will definitely call again.
No parking at the hotel or shuttle to and from recommended parking. Huge security risk particular at night.
Local. Served its purpose. Breakfast staff friendly
receptionist next morning very unfriendly. Not even a smile
The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable plus the price was good for several nights stay in the city centre including breakfast
The rooms were quite noisy with alot of noise throughout the night from the street and you could hear people moving quite loudly in the room above.
Location History of hotel
Bathroom - dirty water came up through bath tub, dirty toothbrush, in general not clean...
Walking distance to different places and Taxis readily available. Breakfast
Noise every morning at 5am when Greenmarket starts building their stalls Keeps one awake till 7am!---we stayed in room facing the street
Hard to sleep with all noice fr.o.m. street. In the shower it was to warm Witherspoon to vild Ester, difficoult to mix
Nice old atmosphere, gentle service at the reception
Dirty carpets/ floor. No service for the breakfast. 2 days we left there and we couldn't find plates spoons or clean table to take our breakfast. Too much noise from the street till late at night and since 5:30 in the morning.
quality breakfast ,including daily made fresh fruit cocktail, high quality granola , high quality bread and yogurt-and the usual other items .Daytime staff is top notch, professional, helpful. Couldn't ask for more central location.
The worst wi fi of all hotels in CapeTown--but it may not be the hotel's fault. Their provider(red button) may be the culprit. I had to leave hotel to restaurants and bars with good wi fi--daily. Night staff rarely guarded the room keys-anyone could come in and take any key.
Central location, helpful staff and good breakfast.
It's a bit noisy due to the central location, but I knew about it before my stay, so it was not really an issue for me.
Very central, well behaved and helping personnel, good breakfast
The roadside rooms are a bit noisy.
Location suit our needs.
Service standards extremely low Absence of porters for example Breakfast arrangements and service - many areAs to improve
There is order with few people. Good decor.
Breakfast with same food and cereals, small drinking glasses, no shower caps, no fridge in rooms, wooden floor noisy from other rooms.
Although the breakfast was same everyday, it was filling. However, they didnt serve halal food. MOST of the staff were friendly. There is an open market right next to the hotel.
It said that the location was at a walkable distance from v & a waterfront, but it wasnt. Also people including the staff were very blunt in accepting that if we chose to walk we would probably get mugged in that area. Their paid parking facility was 2 streets away from the hotel, and the walk during evenings was always scary considering the market would be closed and beggars would take over the streets with people following you around. Also another website reviews mention about theft in the hotel, which we found out after our booking was already hence we were extremely paranoid during our entire stay. Also, our room had creeky floors and very thin walls, plus the windows didnt have locks.
Cheating on charge
Friendly personnel that take well care of their guests Homely atmosphere Close to restaurants and shops, at a central square Wifi and breakfast included in the price
