Jayson have been studying for a long time to learn everything there is to know about Tulbagh and the history of the town. He does tours in Historic Church Street and this is a definite must when you visit Tulbagh. The heritage of town is something that lays us very close to heart and we would like to see the history living forth forever.

THE HISTORY OF TULBAGH Settled in 1700, Tulbagh has a rich history, and boasts some of the most beautiful examples of early Cape architecture. After the devastating earthquake of 1969, Tulbagh was skillfully restored according to a surviving 1861 photograph, blessing Church Street with 32 National monuments, and the rest was history. A stroll down Church Street gives an authentic glimpse of an 18th Century Cape village. TULBAGH'S FLORA AND FAUNA Nestled between the towering mountain ranges of the Winterhoek, Witzenberg and Saronsberg, Tulbagh has always been celebrated for the stunning beauty of its setting.
