Tzaneen Country Lodge  

Staff was very friendly and helpfull - especially with my mother and father both being in wheelchairs. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Gardens and surroundings are beautiful and perfectly kept and maintained. Had a lovely weekend - will come again!!

Prachtige lokatie en schone kamers.Goed ontbijt.

Tijdens ons bezoek geen internet. Wel via de privé internet van de lodge online check-in kunnen doen en boarding cards kunnen printen.Wel duizend en één excuses.In ons geval veel geld verloren door het gebrek van wi-fi. Ook iets om te onthouden dat de lodge 16 km van Tzaneen is. Daar is wel,als uitzondering,een zeer goede Spur restaurant op mooie plek aan rivier.

Our unit was spacious - like a townhouse with two floors and a front garden. The first floor contained a kitchen, dining area and living area. The second floor had two bedrooms and a bath. I liked that the bathroom was right next to the bedrooms. Both bedrooms had TVs as did the living room. We had a buffet breakfast and dinner. The meals had good selections. Although we didn't use it, there is a spa on the premises. Parking was secure and covered.

We were only given two space heaters - we stayed their in winter, so it was quite cold outside. This meant we had to unplug the one in the living room and put it in one of the bedrooms when we went to sleep. No heater for the bathroom. The shower leaked into the kitchen. The hotel seems to have been created for tall people. The mirror in the bathroom was placed so high, I couldn't even look into it.
