Area information

At Umbhaba Lodge guests can swim, enjoy scenic walks or rides on mountain bikes to explore the natural bush. Follow a hiking trail and spot the variety of bird life and game on the property.

Umbhaba Lodge is ideally situated, and only a short drive from Mpumalanga's famous panoramic sights such as Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and Pilgrim's Rest. Guests can be picked up from the Lodge and taken on a safari in an open vehicle to the famous Kruger National Park or other Private Parks.

Anonymous Netherlands 1	Ivm onze honeymoon hadden we bruidsuite. Bij aankomst kamer was alles versiert met rozenblaadjes. Als kado een flesje bubbels. Deze suite is enorm groot (te groot!) maar wel bijzonder. Het complex heeft een enorme tuin en een meertje waar je wat dieren kunt spotten. Het restaurant is best goed. Ook leuk: bij aankomst krijg je een drankje en je auto word gewassen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Kruger Park. Je kunt zien dat het hotel maar vooral de kamer iets wat gedateerd is. Maar dat heeft ons verblijf niet nadeling beinvloed. Bij vertrek werkte de creditcardmachine niet van de receptie. Na 4 keer proberen (is niet echt prettig) moest ik het toch cash voldoen. Anonymous France 1	Les chambres sont magnifiques, de très belle taille, avec un toit en chaume traditionnel, un salon attenant, une cheminée, une belle salle de bain, un grand balcon donnant sur un petit lac. Très hautes de plafond, elles restent fraiches même quand il fait chaud dehors. La promenade dans le parc de l'hôtel avec un guide armé, est intéressante à faire avant d'aller dans le parc Krüger, qui est tout proche. Les jardins attenants à l'hôtel, avec plusieurs petits étangs, des cascades, des oiseaux de beaux végétaux sont également très agréables. La nourriture était correcte, mais pas trop gastronomique. On a vite préféré aller déjeuner et même diner dans des restaurants d'Haziview et des environs. Le personnel est pléthorique au petit-déjeuner. On aurait préféré que plutôt que nous enlever nos tasses et nos assiettes à peine vidées, ils nous proposent de nous resservir en café et en thé, sans qu'on soit obligé de se lever 15 fois.
