The hospitality of the owners, cleaned and good atmosphere. The location is perfect for visiting Cape Town - walking distance to city centre, Waterfront and the beach promenade.

A little bit old fashion. :-)

    The homely and friendly atmosphere.

Sometimes too much talking early in the morning. Although the hostess intention was good and genuine, it was at points overwhelming.

A feeling of 'being at home' - nice B&B, friendly owners, very open to have a chat with you. They know their way around in Cape Town. Breakfast in the garden is really great - gives you the ultimate 'holiday experience'. Room is quite OK, price/quality level excellent !

It's a bit of a walk to the center - but taxis are cheap in CT

I am traveling with my 12yr old son and one of the things I really appreciated was how welcome and included he was in all aspects and conversations. Shane and Lea are the consummate hosts who start your day with a fantastic breakfast in their garden. Good conversation, helpful suggestions, and the best darn coffee in South Africa. They are quick to help make arrangements and bookings so you can be on your way to experience Cape Town. I will stay there again next time I am in town.

That we only had five days there.

Owners were incredibly friendly and made you feel like family. Valued their suggestions for day trips and their ability to book trips with quality companies. Breakfasts were superb - valued the freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit bowl every morning. I couldn't have wished for a better guesthouse to spend my 2 weeks plus in Cape Town!

Nothing! A first-class guesthouse all round!

The hosts Shane and Lea were very warm and friendly. They treated us and the other guests as family. They had great tips for travel in Cape Town and made sure we got the best out of our short time.

The owners were very friendly and hospitable and the location was perfect for our needs on the night of our stay.

Although we enjoyed staying at Verona Lodge we found it to be lacking in basic comfort. There was only one chair to sit on and it was uncomfortable. Small TV and no DSTV.

For us the best place to stay in Cape Town! Just a few minutes walk to the seaside. The hospitality of the couple, who runs the guest house, is legendary! They gave us so many useful tips for our holiday. And: Perfect breakfast served in a beautiful garden!
