the room set up and the bathroom. there was renovation on the same floor near to my room and it was very noisy and disturbing. I was quite disturbed by it. there should be a minimum consideration for clients staying on the same floor.

We stayed in the mountain view superior room. We saw seals from our window too! Loved our stay at the V & A Hotel. The porters were really helpful. The breakfast was delish! We ordered in room meals and they were also delish! Would highly recommend this hotel.

the room was lovely. the bed was very cozy. it had everything we needed. the decor is great because it's simple but stylish. It's right in the waterfront so you don't need transport to go to restaurants, shopping, sight seeing, cruises or even go and see a movie. Our room was only made up in the afternoon after we requested that it be done in the morning while we were out and there were no slippers but the uber comfy gowns made up for that.

The interior of the hotel and the spacious room. The view from the window to the Waterfront, as well as the table mountain. Fresh fruits at breakfast. Just 3 minutes walk from the Waterfront mall. nothing

Excellent waterfront location with the benefit of the buzzy waterfront eateries and shops. drive. The short drive from the airport makes it a good choice if you just want to recover from your flight before exploring the Cape. Loft rooms great value, generously sized with very comfy beds - ours also had views of Table Mountain and the harbour. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is fabulous and the view of the mountain and the Waterfront is outstanding. When I mentioned it was my Mother's birthday the Hotel made a cake for her, very kind and thoughtful gesture. The bathrooms need to be upgraded for a hotel of this standing. The fact that you had to pay extra for breakfast at the price we paid for the accommodation was very off putting.

Supporter Room was granted after Check Out. Excellent Service. Friendly Stuff. I had quite an expensive room (219) for 3000+ Rand per night I think. I know of hotels which offer better value for this (even I cannot complain about specifics). I assume I paid quite some money for the view. Eventually the windows could be better to reduce noise from outside.

We loved your view and situation on the Waterfront - which is why we decided on a second stay at your hotel in spite of its high cost for a single evening.Parking is good. We did not like the following..... 1) when we arrived in the room the manhole in the entrance foyer of the room was hanging open and I had to climb up on a chair to close it 2) The air conditioner did not work so we had a very uncomfortable night - luckily we could leave the windows open. 3) No hot water in the room - luke warm 4) we decided because of our long drive down from Jhb, (15hrs), we would eat at your restaurant - bad decision!!! No waiter to be seen so the Maitre D, (supervisor), took our order which took quite a while to appear. My wife ordered prawns, no finger bowl arrived even though we asked for one - she washed her fingers in her glass of water. I ordered kingklip which was obviously left to stand in the oven or perhaps it was warmed up - the sauce was congealed into ring where obviously a plate was put over the meal to cover it - tough kinglip!!! (yugh). 5) The waiter arrived for the first time that evening as we finished our meal and asked if we had enjoyed our meal and seemed surprised when we said it was the worst meal and service we had ever had? 6) The Maitre D/supervisor then came with the same question - same reaction. 7) we paid something like R650.00 for the meal - left and had coffee and desert and the Belgium restaurant across the road. 8) A chef who is prepared to allow food like that to leave his kitchen needs to be fired. 9) Train your staff...............we were not the only customers to feel robbed.

- Hotel's location at the waterfront giving access to other facilities; - clean and comfortable hotel facilities; - good stock in mini-bar; - staff at the front desk are friendly and receptive; - staff servicing should be encouraged to be more vigilant to details e.g. make sure tea spoons are delivered together with cups in the room and at the breakfast table without having to request for them;
