Score from 69 reviews Very good
The hotel has a great location and is in easy walking distance to most of the waterfront, and the Stadium. Highly reccomended
Slow internet, but that was par for the course in South Africa
Location, view of the Table mountain and the marina, safety day and night (not everywhere in Cape Town), excellent Restaurant in the house, quiet place just some minutes from the touristic part of the Waterfront
Location for what I wanted to do
Lack of consistency in service provision
The Service was outstanding.
Location is great thanks
We arrived parked our car under the trees and spent 3 days on the Waterfront - great just to be able to walk to all the restaurants, shopping mall and enjoy the vibes. The hotel provided us with a bottle of water every night and a nougart on the pillow. The staff were very friendly the bed comfortable and really the whole experience was just a great pleasure.
Very friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful.
Service at meal times was often slow.
breakfast and especially their Crayfish deal for lunch
internet was a pain to keep logging into
Location Rooms and view
The taxi booked was not sent to airport
The location of the Hotel is great and the general ambiance was also very good. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. The rooms was quite comfortable and very clean.
The wifi kept getting cut off. Some of the additional amenities are very mediocre, e.g. gym service, and is quite a walk away from the actual hotel itself.
The staff were all friendly, polite and courteous.
After 2weeks volunteering we spent 2 fab nights at the hotel. The location is great, we rolled out of bed & onto the boat to Robben island! Plenty of nice restaurants & worth going to the indoor food market behind the hotel. The Room was spacious and very comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel although food looked and smelt good. Great service from staff; they were informative and also made reservations for us. Would definitely stay here again.
modern design and facilities. right at the waterfront with shops, restaurants and nice views.
Centrally located in the heart of the tourist district with plenty of eating and shopping places within a brief stroll. Also close to Robben Island ferry. Great views of the harbour and Table Mountain. Perfect for my three days stay in Cape Town.
Great for single/couples, but if I brought my family it might get pricey.
The position of the hotel is excellent with a wonderful view over the harbour.
Your ice machine needs cleaning, we found black specks in the ice supplied.
the size of the room, bathroom facilities, the views, easy reach of restaurants, shopping, water activities.
not much worthing mentioning.
The view from the room was magnificent. Breakfast very good. Location is excellent.
Restaurant not great for dinner, manager could not find cellar key for some time, specific wine as on menu not available etc. We actually left and had dinner across from there.
The room was pleasant enough. Front desk helpful & accommodating
Lack of real International service standards, poor quality of service from untrained staff, room service and food was of poor standard. Marimba band outside was a relentless noise.
Breakfast was excellent even though a bit pricey.
Aircon was not working and it took more than 2hrs to get some commitment. We eventually changed rooms. With power outs in SA, the hotel had nothing in place. no emergency lighting at all. We book Bed and Breakfast yet were charged additional for breakfast which was eventually sorted out but this should never happen.
Breakfast was excellent location the best Was worried about room being noisy facing the piazzo but not an issue room no 218 Would definitely stay there again a 5 star experience
Unfortunately they could not get the air conditioner to work properly during our stay. Could not have twin beds
Our room was pretty spacious - and the view of Table Mountain from our window was fantastic! The atmosphere in and around the hotel was quite relaxed, and the staff were attentive. In the immediate area (The Waterfront) there are so many attractions, shopping areas, bars and restaurants - something for everyone. Absolutely loved it!
One tiny comment rather than critiscism - Reception was very busy when we checked-in (which was not a quick process) and it's a small foyer/reception area, so it felt a little bit cramped.
The Food was tasteless
One of the best located hotels in Cape Town (Views, Waterfront, Highways, Table Mountain, etc) and helpful staff.
Parking next to taxis.
