Only 8 minutes from Fourways Mall and Monte Casino, this family-owned guest house is situated in the quiet suburb of Jukskei Park. The hotel has a tropical landscaped garden, outside pergola, lapa and swimming pool. The individually decorated rooms overlook the tropical garden and pool area. They are equipped with free Wi-Fi and under-floor heating. Natural fabrics and thatched roofs create a cottage-style atmosphere. There is a braai area which is used to host candle-lit, barbecue dinners to the sound of African music. Continental and full English breakfasts are served on the sun patio, or in the dining room. The hotel staff can help with car rental or schedule trips around Johannesburg. There is a guide on site for private tours. We really enjoyed staying at Villa Schreiner Guest House. Owner Michiel is very friendly and gives you a lot of tips, where to dine & wine, etc. The rooms are nice, overlooking the beautiful garden & pool. Very quiet area also. Mark, the tour guide can take you to all interesting places. He is a lot of fun, and has good knowledge of the country. I certainly can recommend this place to anyone. Room Tip: I loved the upstairs superior room (Winnifred). It has a stunning garden view and is very charming!

The place is quite and offers peaceful rest and location convinient to visit other areas of interest. Towels should be washed more freqently, we only got once off suply and they were changed for washing. The T.V. is very old and has no variety of channels, this needs some attention.

Closeness to malls and the monte casino. Furniture ver old,m showers very dirty, ceiling full of dust(thatch accummulating dust) the adults woke up with sinus headaches, downstairs shower no hot water, really not a good experience for my family. It is advertsised as 5 star but their real rating is 3 star(shown by their documents). Sometimes you get what you pay for...

The owners are really good fun and friendly! We absolutely loved our stay there! Will certainly be going back. This is a really beautiful place to be, Everything! The room was stunning, the drinking pod! The gardens and pool! The honesty bar! And beauty the dog! Breakfast was amazing! It was all absolutely perfect!

Open space, room to stretch, pool, honesty bar, small kitchenette allowed for self catering in the studio, warm hospitality and lovely dinners. Safe environment - we could walk to the shops. Several personal tour options were awesome: Pretoria and the Voortrekkers monument; Pilanesberg Safari; Cradle of mankind The Lion Park and / or Rhino and Lion Park Leseda Cultural Village

I loved the style of the house, the gardens and pool and especially the outdoor seating area with honesty bar. It was ideal for relaxing after a busy day out. The bathrooms were particularly well appointed and big. The home made breakfast muffins were excellent and deserve a mention. We chose the villa for it's proximity to Lanseria airport and our relatives' home. The rooms were good but could have been better. The shared bathroom facilities fro 2 of the rooms would have been unacceptable if we had not been sharing with our own group.

The location was good. Shopping mal only minutes away by car with good places to eat (Throbbing Strawberry and The Hogshead). We stayed in the self contained cottage which needed a little updating in parts, this was a shame because with a bit of TLC it could have been 4 star. Cannot comment about the main house. Even so would probably stay again The breakfast was disapointing and not up to the usual South African standards and all breakfasts arrived separately over a period of about 40 minutes. This is payed seperate to the accomodation so i would recommend eating out

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Schreiner Guesf House. It was much more than we expected. The staff are All very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms comfortable. The location was great, only 500 metres from the shops. Very secure with electric Gates. Very private. We had the family suite which had loads of room. Didn't expect our own sunbathing balcony. Nice surprise. The owner Michele was extremely helpful and friendly. Kids loved the resident dog. Will definitely go again.

Bonne reception, bien pour le repos mais pas pour ce divertir! La tranquilité est de mise, le petit dej est trés bien le seul inconvenient est que le personel ne parle qu'Anglais.

It was amazing, convinient,cosy, affordable esp for a young couple. It definatly be our new home away from home. The owner was very nice and welcoming. Iv always been very skeptical about guest houses but this one proved me wrong. Great service and beautiful accomodation *i like*

Very beautiful garden & quiet & relaxing atmophere. Sharing of bathroom!!! Welcoming process to travellers could have been a bit better? A very nice sundowner/cocktail bar on the premises could have been made use of: it stood empty & unused.
