Very nice, neat rooms, pleasant atmosphere

I would like to have a coffee/tea facilities in the room

Very appealing facility, rooms upmarket and comfortable, well located

On both nights of our stay there were outside functions at the hotel which resulted in disturbance and inconvience. We would've preferred for the room to have a number of tv channels avaialble instead of asking reception to change to the preferred channel. Also, the room did not have a coffee bar and fridge - everthing had to be ordered through reception. We chose Villa Tuscana to have a special and exclusive experience, but frankly speaking a normal hotel (I.E. City Lodge) would have offered more convenience and ultimately better value.

Tv was positioned funny.

The staff made you feel very much at home. Very accommodating and friendly. The room design was lovely, open airy and relaxing.

No availability of tea/coffee making facility in the room. Tv facility may ned updating.

For the view, it would be good if the house across the street can be completed. Television reception was not 100%, but not a problem or disturbing.

The inconvenience of having to call reception everytime if you need a dstv channel. We were in a room on the side of the hotel and their were constant noise eminating from the back, not sure if it was cleaning staff or surrounding neighbours, but early in the morning and late at night. The parking in front inside can be reserved for the person living on the side in that apartment, as I was woken up at 6.15 one morning to move my vehicle as another guest who blatently parked in such a manner where no other vehicle could park next to I was told to park behind him as he was not to park there, yet I was disturbed.

Secure car parking was actually secure behind a security gate.

Mostly everything! The security gate opened and closed all night long, keeping us awake. The tea and coffee was of questionable age and no milk. There was no door on the bathroom, so no privacy. The tv had very poor reception and no satellite.

It was a clean, comfortable, spacious and well decorated room. We enjoyed our stay for one night of our honeymoon. It was our start off point of the garden route. We also felt very safe, it is in a beautiful neighborhood and the walk to the beach and boardwalk area felt very safe as well.

Although we did choose this establishment for it's proximity to the airport, we did find the walk to the beach to be a little long. If we were to stay in Port Elizabeth again, we would prefer to stay closer to the ocean. Also, we were to have a garden view room but when we arrived, we were not given a garden view. otherwise we had a great stay.
