Hard to say what we liked, much easier to point out what we did not like: the Service was horrable. Not interested helping us E.G. with an already paid not working wlan access. Unfriendly and exhausting. Don't go there.

We were woken rudely at 720am to give us fresh towels as the previous day the towels had not dried. However when we tried to contact what is suppose to be a 24hr reception the night before for towels there was no reply. The breakfast was terrible and you couldn't even have a decent cup of coffee as it tasted like mud.

I loved the place and the staff were great. Very helpful and always available and willing to help. The particular room I stayed in was very nice, elegant and very clean. There was fresh towels in the room and extra blankets, tea, coffee everything was there. Oh and the wifi is wireless. I am defineatly coming back to this palce with my family, keep up the good work guys. Best service ever!!!

Ants, crickets and spiders in bathroom Basin in bathroom did not have a plug and the cold tap did not work

Rooms are advertised as having king size beds - they are in fat two 3/4 beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable. My confirmation also confirmed the room having a bath and shower. The room we received only had a shower.

Price and location were both excellent. The particular room I stayed in could be described as 'old fashioned'. The (double) bed was very comfortable,; the room had a Tv and a desk and a private bathroom, also coffee facilities. There was a very large built-in wardrobe/chest-of- drawers/cupboard, but only two coat-hangers. Outdoors there was a beautiful pool and a shaded lounge area, plenty of car-parking (shaded). All entry to the property, whether on foot or by car, was through a reception- controlled electric gate There was a comprehensive range of options for breakfast whether 'full' or 'continental', but the choice of cereals and fruit and fruit-juices was limited. Located on the fringes of one of the most expensive areas of Sandton it was conveniently placed for reaching Sandton City, Rosebank and Hyde Park shopping malls by car (all were within a mile or two).

The hotel needs a better handyman, to fix sundry items like picture hooks, curtain holders and shower heads.

I liked the setting, garden around the pool area.

Electric fence clicking throughout the night. Bright light shining through the glass door.

The location is excellent

1. Mattress was too small for the bed 2. No burglar bars on windows 3. No remote for the air-conditioner 4. No bath mat for the shower 5. Only one hand towel and one bath towel yet we booked in as a couple 6. No night guard on duty to take our key when we left at 05h45

Very close to the Sandton Conference centre, easy to reach, good parking.

Friendliness of staff

Noise levels till 3am. Mostly by other raucous guests. Broken taps an unadjustable shower head.

It is a bit run down. Upgrades on decor have not been done in a long time. Staff can barely speak English.
