This place is terrible! The staff are rude & unhelpful. Breakfast was included in the room rate but we could not get it because of a church service being held in the dining area (which woke us up very early with their loud music) and none of the staff bothered to tell the guests about this the day before. When approached, the receptionist was cold and couldn't answer us about the situation. Management was not available at the establishment to help. We have never been treated so badly at any hotel/B&B...definitely will never return!

The location is excellent 1. Mattress was too small for the bed 2. No burglar bars on windows 3. No remote for the air-conditioner 4. No bath mat for the shower 5. Only one hand towel and one bath towel yet we booked in as a couple 6. No night guard on duty to take our key when we left at 05h45

A terrible and run down accomodation. The paint was peeling off everywhere, mould all over the place and a bad stench. Not to mention the absolutely worn out carpets and upholstery.

Surprisingly and shockingly excellent value for money. The facilities are amazing and the staff more than polite and accommodating in absolutely every way. I am booking in every year for the rest of my life. If u don't stay here you will never know a fantastic holiday. My compliments to the owners of the establishment and especially to the staff. Could they move the beach nearer?

Price and location were both excellent. The particular room I stayed in could be described as 'old fashioned'. The (double) bed was very comfortable,; the room had a Tv and a desk and a private bathroom, also coffee facilities. There was a very large built-in wardrobe/chest-of- drawers/cupboard, but only two coat-hangers. Outdoors there was a beautiful pool and a shaded lounge area, plenty of car-parking (shaded). All entry to the property, whether on foot or by car, was through a reception- controlled electric gate There was a comprehensive range of options for breakfast whether 'full' or 'continental', but the choice of cereals and fruit and fruit-juices was limited. Located on the fringes of one of the most expensive areas of Sandton it was conveniently placed for reaching Sandton City, Rosebank and Hyde Park shopping malls by car (all were within a mile or two). The hotel needs a better handyman, to fix sundry items like picture hooks, curtain holders and shower heads.

We stayed at the Guest House for 5 nights. I've never been disappointed with service or any accomodation I've stayed in while in Sandton before this. The rooms at the guest house were very badly maintained. The kitchen was falling apart. There were no remotes for either the ac or tv. The staff were rude and unfriendly. Often times there was nobody around the guest house or at reception. They held a very loud and quite disturbing church service in the lobby early Sunday morning. Very disappointing, especially for the price.

The location/parking/grounds are very nice. Kitchenette with Fridge & Microwave always useful in a room and aircon is also appreciated. No major complaints but sad to see that a once very luxury guesthouse is now showing signs of being run down, and all the small nice touches throughout the place & in the rooms do not feature anymore.

We liked the privacy, the relaxing garden and the perfect location!!! We will definately come back. Ending the breakfast at 09:00 is a little too early when you are in town for a holiday... We also found the breakfast service a little slow.

I loved the attention to details and the willingness to assist when required. I love the location, as it was not far from everywhere else I needed to be. The place was relaxing and this is also reflected in the decor and layout of the room and public spaces. I must admit that the free breakfast and wifi was a bonus. The only problem I had was that the breakfast starts and ends so early. When you on holiday you dont want to get out of bed before 9am for breakast, especially if check-out is only at 11am. Also there was no clarity or information on where Sunday breakfast will take place. Otherwise all was well!!

It is a homely Guest House with very down to earth staff. Adrian. However, my greatest disappointment was that we arrived Jorburg at midnight and there was no transport from the hotel waiting for us. We had to risk and take a strange taxi amidst all our fears. On two mornings we had to eat dry bread at breakfast as we were informed that tghe supplier did not supply the hotel. I have booked thru booking.com on holiday to Dubai, Istanbul and the hotels I stayed in were wonderful as they offered what they promised. Villa Vittoria had better know that 1st impressions are lasting impressions. Let them learn to offer what they promise and not otherwise. They will lose good customers. Regards, Adrian
