All good generally. Thought and attention to detail comfort and quality. Love the car valet.

Rooms can vary in modernity and heating units can be noisy and intrusive. Bar area to cold! Should be warm and cosy this time of year. Staff can be dismissive in here, uncommunicative and service generally indifferent(only in this area!)

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The food is excellent. The location is excellent.

Because I'm an architect, I loved the design, which brings together heritage with contemporary!!

The bathrooms were a bit clumsy and outdated, almost out of place with the rest of the place!

I like the position, you notice they are long in the business of hotel. I like the setting the big garden the view on the mountains and they are eco friendly. For three days I got a good price. I like distance to airport and nearby shopping centre and the area of CapeTown.

They offer free WiFi but I had a problem with reception in the room practical zero it did not show any bars and on other places the signal was often simply too week. Normally the more people use the speed goes down so one should give it technical boost as more and more will use but it is getting frustrating if things slow down too much.

The hotel is embedded in a nice and huge garden with view on the table mountain.

Poor/nil response to a request from our daughter tor her to buy a bottle champagne to greet us. BUT apologies and situation sorted quickly, and effeciently

The layout of the hotel was great - my room was really nice with a balcony overlooking Table Mountain and the gardens. The breakfast was delicious and well worth getting up for in the morning. Service was good, amenities good. Staff well trained and friendly. Generally an excellent choice and I will certainly stay here again. .

I would have liked a concertina magnifying mirror in the bathroom with better light.

We asked online if we should book our dinner and was told to leave it till we arrived. When we arrived the restaurant was full.Not good news.

Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast spread. Tranquil location even though it is close to the city.

Bedroom gone a little bit too mod (too much use of glass & mirrior) iro of the hotel's long heritage, would have liked to see a bit more character furniture and retro design used. But overall, will return as often as possible.

The staff were excellent, and very friendly, unfortunatley I did not get her name but one of the waitresses at the Square restaurant was really good. We were also upgraded to a river suite which was much appreciated

beautiful gardens, good food, breakfast included in rate, lovely rooms.

bath not cleaned properly on numerous occasions and had to clean myself (dirty ring around bath on arrival), no bedside table and no drawer by mirror for make-up.

Good pool facilities. Good travel service into City.

En-suite bathroom facilities were disappointing with glass walls not affording sufficient privacy. No door to the toilet!
