This bed and breakfast in Durban is set in lush gardens with an outdoor pool and barbecue terrace. Virginia Forest Lodge offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony and forest views. Guests can make use of free private on-site parking. Light décor with African touches, satellite TV and tea/coffee making facilities come as standard in the rooms at Virginia Lodge. Close to shopping malls The fact that this was a lodge where the owners stayed in the same house as the guests !!! if I had known this I would have never stayed here....

People are great. Friendly, warm and engaging. I now know were to come back too. Weather and electricity cut out - both of which the hotel could not help or control. But this I understand is rare.

Ganz ruhig gelegen, die Eigentuemer Mike & Arlene sehr freundlich und haben alle unsere Wuensche erfuellt, selbst wenn es darum ging zum Fruehstueck "smoked finnan haddock" zu bekommen, was uebrigens auch super mit Spiegeleiern schmeckt. Schoener Pool, absolut sicher und beim naechsten Mal wuerde ich dieses B&B sofort wieder buchen...

The owners were wonderful and welcoming. They were very accommodating with us staying with a baby and went out of their way to make sure we were catered for. The atmosphere was great. The only thing was not having our own DStv which meant that you had to watch whatever was showing on the main TV. But this was a very small thing.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. The room was a nice size and designed well with a tub and shower.
