After 24 hours journey with transfer, flight and some waiting time it was lovely to arrive to this gem. The atmosphere and friendly owners and the nice garden with the pool, we liked everything. Unfortunatly we had only planned for one night stay and that was too short.
Room, view, helpful staff, lovely breakfast, peaceful setting
Leon and Luke were very helpful and accommodating during the electricity and water outages
Lovely garden Excellent service Small paradise Great breakfast Perfect eye for details
A super venue, excellent position and wonderful staff.
Home from Home. Friendly helpful staff beautifully appointed bedrooms and public rooms have good antique furniture. Peaceful ,fine garden and pool. A perfect place from which to explore the surrounding wine area.
A little problem finding which hopefully is being rectified
Friendly welcome & beautifully appointed house & bedroom. Highly recommended
Close to Somerset West and that magnificent foodhall. As a frequent traveller I am sick of hotel food & restaurants - this was ideal. Beautiful gardens, peaceful, luxurious
water pressure in kitchen and basin in the bathroom only low(no problem with the bath) but it didnt both me - just mentioning it
Location, access to Stellenbosch and Winelands tours, quiet beauty, friendly staff, great cottage facility with huge bathroom and fully fitted kitchenette (properly isolated from bedroom) Offers functional basic but decent breakfast
Water pressure a bit low, but probably pump borehole pressure tank related
The location, style and breakfast.
I should have been welcomed better, my bags taken to the room. I didn't feel 5 star service. I think the salt and pepper grinders on the table should not still be in their Woolworths bottles. My room had lady bugs all over the roof and another 5 or 6 in the bathroom.
Fantastic service Wonderful ambience Beautifully furnished Will return Elias PmBurg
This was a lovely place to stay, the staff were very welcoming, the rooms were very modern and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a choice of full or continental breakfast. The setting was tranquil yet very close to main roads to travel around, we found the place easily. We were very pleased with our stay, the only disappointment was it was for only two nights, we would have liked to have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.
Very pleasant helpful staff, took extra steps to accommodate our schedule
Difficulty locating, sign displays only one direction; Tom-Tom does not have proper location
Outstanding Staff and management
Beautiful setting and quiet surroundings. Spacious and well equipped reading rooms and lounges. I think they can cater for all kinds of travelers
Directions and signage could be better
Nice and quiet, this place was really relaxing. We had a lovely room with direct access to the terrace in front of the pool. The breakfast was good
Friendliness and helpful & good quality
A gorgeous house in a lovely setting with comfortable rooms and helpful staff. We couldn't have asked for more......can't wait to go back.
Set in a beautifully designed garden with a charming terrace and a shadow rich pool, Vredenburg Manor House is a charming oasis in the busy surrounds of Cape Town on the verge of the Winelands. Reception and service was warm, forthcoming and effective. The Manor is nicely decorated and so was our room. Breakfast on the terracce was leisurely and perfect.
When on Winery Road, do look out well for the sign; it is easily missed.
This B & B was perfect - only wish we could have doubled our 3 day stay! Lovely spacious room in the main house, excellent breakfaxt and very attentive service. Very highly recommended.
Stunning Manor House in a Beautiful location with large gardens and well furnished rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. could not ask for more.
Stunning property beautifully furnished. Very comfortable and tranquil and host that were extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the surroundings. Lovely setting and terrace for breakfast was idilic
If you're looking for a tranquil place to relax, read and reflect than this is one. Great library as well.
Signage only in one direction. If you're coming from the opposite side there is nothing to indicate the turn into the property.
