The Unit was well equipped but does need some updating and repairs. The kitchen sink and bathrooms could do with a facelift. Moisture problems were evident in some of the walls - bubbling paint.

The location is nothing less than amazing. Right at the point where the river meets the sea, with lovely balcony and view.
The apartment is truly amazing, well equipped with everything (including laundry machine) and anything you could think of.
Unfortunately it was raining from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and we didn't have the chance to properly enjoy Stilbaai nor the balcony and the view, but it was still a good stay on the way to garden route.

Quiet seaside resort at this time of year. Eating out easy distances. Downside to dining in South Africa the only form of potato is greasy chips. Even in 5 star hotels. The museum/ tourist information is a lovely place to eat.

The location of the unit is arguably the best in Stilbaai. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend that the wifi password be provided to guests on arrival. We would love to return.

Stilbaai came to us as a big & pleasant surprise - it was not the sleepy fishing village that we were expecting. Unfortunately, we were there less than 24 hours, but we managed to drive around to familiarise ourselves with what it had to offer. We loved the fact that there were a number of good restaurants, coffee shops & large supermarkets. The beaches looked very inviting as well as hiking & riding trails, but we needed more time for all of that. It was nice to see little boats on the river & we hear that the fishing is very good. All in all, we loved Stilbaai & will certainly return.Joffe - 10Scored 10

This is a sleepy town, exactly what I wanted x local shops, lovely people x The Anchor restaurant by the port has fresh fish caught every day x amazing food, highly recommend going x Nothing was too much for anyone when I asked for help x

An interesting little town with friendly people. We didnt have any time to explore. Enjoyable fish dinner at the harbour restuarant at sunset. There were wine farms, cheese factories and beaches we would have liked to visit if time had allowed. We had a good stay at Chilli Moon with comfortable room, friendly hosts, and a great breakfast.

Stilbaai is a serene and beautiful beach town - just large enough to be lively and have a choice of restaurants, but small enough to be quiet and relaxing. The beach is beautiful and one can walk for kilometres. and if you get tired on walking on the beach, then explore all along the Goukou river. Lots of nature trails and beach walks.
