Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodations and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. This boutique hotel has just 11 guest rooms, all of which have a private porch overlooking the pretty gardens. All of the rooms also boast a private outdoor shower. Breakfast is served buffet-style each morning. Lunches can be enjoyed poolside or on the sun deck and dinner is available in the thatched dining room that overlooks the water. The setting, the staff, the food, just about every thing at Woodhall was perfect . If we are ever in South Africa again we would book Woodhall again

Beautiful setting and buildings. Room was stunning. Food was delicious! Wonderful attention to detail with the staff very friendly and hugely helpful in organising trips and visits in the surrounding area. A bit on the pricey side but a wonderful treat to oneself!

Absolutely amazing from check in to checkout. A real gem of the Eastern cape and truly a one of a kind experience . We will definitely return. Woodall is fantastic.

Da wir das Hotel von einer früheren Reise kannten, war für uns klar, dass wir dort wieder ein paar Tage verbringen wollten. Ein kleines Paradies zum Wohlfühlen - wundervolles Ambiente - Ruhe zum Entspannen - fantastisches Essen - traumhafte Zimmer! Ein sehr herzliches Personal verwöhnt mit perfekter Bedienung - einfach toll! Für ein paar Tage Erholung und die Nähe zum Addo-Park bestens geeignet - auch die organisierten Safaris mit Ranger sind zu empfehlen. Man muß nur wissen, dass das Hotel abgeschieden liegt, wie in einer kleinen Festung. Außerhalb zum Essen gehen und andere Aktivitäten am Abend sind daher sehr schwierig, aber das Restaurant innerhalb des Hotels ist einfach fantastisch.

Sehr schöne Anlage, allerdings sehr abgelegen. Glücklicherweise bietet das Haus eine ausgezeichnete Küche. Das mehrgängige Menu war den Preis wert. Das Zufahrt ist nicht einfach zu finden.
