Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodations and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. This boutique hotel has just 11 guest rooms, all of which have a private porch overlooking the pretty gardens. All of the rooms also boast a private outdoor shower. Breakfast is served buffet-style each morning. Lunches can be enjoyed poolside or on the sun deck and dinner is available in the thatched dining room that overlooks the water. This owner-managed gem, an easy drive from Port Elizabeth & close to the border of the Elephant Park offers visitors a true experience of South African hospitality; luxurious accommodation with exceptionally large rooms; a wide choice of relaxation areas, including indoor & outdoor sitting areas, library, sun-downer deck and a contemporary TV lounge. The exceptional cuisine, for which Woodall is renowned, is a highlight of any stay celebrating the best of local flavours & freshly picked home-grown produce
The property is owner run and the locally recruited staff offer excellent, friendly, and attentive service. Woodall is very involved in the upliftment of the local community and have a number of economic and social initiatives in place
Woodall is situated in the beautiful malaria-free Sundays River Valley, famous for its elephants, citrus and roses. The Addo Elephant Park is home to the Big 5 - Here one can experience exceptional game viewing, and arguably SA’s best elephant sightings. Close by are a nearby private game reserves such as Schotia, Elephant Back Safaris which all offer day safaris. A number of activities such as canoe safaris on the Sundays River, Zip-lining, quad biking, horse riding, hiking aandfishing are available.
