Some of the old houses were a disgrace. I remember them when the houses and gardens were loved.
I liked looking around the town to see how it had changed. It has changed a lot in that time, some good some bad. I enjoyed going round my old haunts and partaking in a few beers (a lot).

This accommodation was not suitable for us
The staff tried really hard to accommodate our needs

The dining room needs a bit of updating.
The room and bathroom were clean and and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he even took me from the bus in early hours of the morning. Staff were friendly.

Only very small issue, however a better range of satellite television stations into the rooms would be great. The air conditioned dripped a little water outside the room, but that could easily be rectified.
Joseph, the owner was so helpful and friendly. He organises pick ups and drop offs for our excursions, as well as organising them for us. He also did pick up and return to airport. The selection of activities, and prices, was excellent. The lady who is the chef was equally so friendly and.provided meals to many guests at times that suited the guests, morning or evening. The locality was excellent, close to a main street and market. Whilst not five star, one honestly does not need this for a happy and friendly stay. Lovely people and local place to stay.

Very basic accommodation.
Great support from the owner Joseph and his staff in arranging excursions and providing information about Livingstone and surroundings. Good breakfast. Good value for money ratio.

Floor could do with a mop in bedroom and lumpy pillows
This place is fine for a couple of days. It is a good location and the owner Joseph is really helpful and friendly. Full enhlish fry up for breakfast and lifts to the airport. A mop overthe floor and new pillows would reallyhelp this place. However, bathroom clean.

I was at comfort corner for 4 days, the hotel is very clean and very neat, I stayed at room number 8, the room has a very big shower and very good air condition. The staff is very helpful, especially joseph, who assist and organize all the activities that I asked for him, he was sitting on the phone, compare prices and negotiate for better prices for me, at nights he drove me for restaurants wished I choose and for changing money Amir

Personally was not keen on the sausage - would have preferred bacon but otherwise breakfast fine.
everything we needed was there, air conditioning, fridge, shower, telly (didn't watch), wi fi. friendly welcome from Joseph who gave us a lift into town. Friendly staff. Close to the town - food palace very good for food and museum very interesting within walking distance.

The internet didn't always work, and the outside of the place was pretty bleak. They should pit a few pots of flowers around or something.
It's inexpensive and the room was fine.

The hotel is located at the town center of Livingstone, short walk to main street. Free wifi, room is clean. The hotel manager Joseph is very nice. He picked me up from the airport free of charge and also drove me to another hotel which is my joining hotel for a overland tour in Africa without a fee. Thanks Joseph!

Very bad shape. Small rooms, spiders...nothing like the accomodations we had on Namibian side for the same price.
Location was okay and the price was not expensive. Breakfest also ok. Staff friendly

The Comfort Corner Guesthouse is a comfortable place to stay while on a budget in Livingstone. The rooms are small but clean and convenient. We had ac (which is a must) and a large refridgerator which was nice to keep drinks cold. We had a good breakfast there every morning. It consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans and toast. The best part is the owner Joseph. Joseph felt like our very own personal tour guide and friend. We always felt very safe. He arranged all of our excursions - Devil's Pool (amazing) and a Chobe National Park Safari (water and land) in Botswana. We also went to Zimbabwe to Victoria Fall`s National Park. Joseph personally showed us around town and after that we all went out for dinner and drinks. He made our stay in Livingstone very easy, fun and safe. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend staying here. Heather & Diane ~ USA

Very occasionally, internet was unconnected, but they have engineer, Michael, he fixes it very easily.
Staff Mr.Joseph is very nice!He treated us like a family:) We really appreciate his service. You can start your day perfectly with American Breakfast,(coffee/tea/hot chocolate, fruit juice, sausage, bacon, beans, two fries eggs, and two pieces of toasts with butter/jam)- Cocks are friendly too, they ask what time they should prepare for your breakfast so that its ready hot! We also tried traditional Zambian food at this guest house. Very nice

After seeing positive reviews on bookings.com the Comfort Corner Guest House lived up to the comments. This cozy location is a 5 minute walk from downtown Livingstone and the room was perfect for my needs, including air conditioning, mini-refrigerator, tv and clean bed/bathroom. The owner and manager Joseph is the reason this place stands out from other guest houses, he is extremely friendly, speaks great English, and will ensure you have a great stay. Joseph provided transportation to and from the airport and to most activities, and was extremely helpful in getting me reservations for the activities I wanted to book (including Zambezi river cruise, Chobe Botswana Safari, Victoria Falls Devil's Pool, etc.) He provides the same activity booking services of the expensive Livingstone lodges but at a much more affordable price for those not wanting the lodges' fancy accommodations and overpriced meals. I really liked the included breakfast as well. I highly recommend for those looking to enjoy all the activities of the Livingstone/Victoria Falls area without paying the steep Lodge prices. Joseph is a great host!

no chairs in the room so had to sit on the bed. water for the shower was little more than only a trickle.
Joseph (the manager) was really friendly/helpful, so also the other members of staff, we were made most welcome. Breakfast (x3) was the only meal we ate there, but it was lovely cooked breakfast, most enjoyable.

Josep, the operator, is a highly helpful manager. Always smiling. Kin on calculation. quick responsible to request.

Room was small and fairly basic, and breakfast got a bit crowded as there was only one table.
Staff were extremely helpful, and the manager Joseph went out of his way to pick us up and take us to the border.
