The hotel is very good located and the terrace is really great! The staff at the reception is really friendly and helpful! The food from room service is not good. Rooms are small but for the price it was ok. |

Superb location in the heart of Barcelona, busy main road so request a room off the main road, rooms are adequate maybe a bit on the small side but what you would expect in a City hotel. Staff very good and helpful. |

The hotel was clean, modern, had elevators and a large lobby. The bathrooms were nicely updated (mine was very large). There were many choices of food at breakfast in the downstairs dining area and there was also a lovely rooftop area. I appreciated the use of two computers in the lobby. Phone messages were printed and placed under my door. The staff could have been more knowledgeable about the city. I was there during a major holiday and when I asked about the holiday I was told to google it. |

Our breakfast was included in package and was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and willing to speak english where our spanish was terrible. Very central without being on the really busy tourist streets. The free cava (spanish champagne) was a great touch Beds are small and hard, but not the worst. |

It was close to everything I wanted to see. The bed was hard and it was on wheels so it moved around the floor when leaning back on the headboard to watch tv |

The staff spoke excellent English and the hotel was in an excellent location, close to the Cathedral, Palau Musica, and the Picasso Museum. The reason the room was so cheap was because it was on the first floor facing the street. It didn't bother me, but it could have bothered someone else. Everything else more than made up for it, which is why I consider the deal I got an excellent value for a terrific hotel. |

Eventually the great location (see below) Hotel was overbooked for the first night of my three night stay and I was moved to another hotel in an area of Barcelona I did not want to be in. Hotel staff also lied by telling me my room was not available because of electrical fault, when I arrived at second hotel they told me I had been moved for one night due to overbooking. Not good enough when I made my booking in Jan. this year ! Moving for one night of a three night stay is far from satisfactory. |

The hotel had a great location outside underground and on the tourist bus route, I was wooried that it would be noisey but in our room on the 5th floor you could hardly hear any noise. THe rooftop terrace has brilliant views of the cityand it was a great to use the jaquzzi ! Overall the hotel was great value for money and great location. The rooms were on the small side, but we didnt spend much time in the room as there is so much to do and see in Barcelona. |

The Staff were very helpful and could not do enough for you. The hotel is very central. Rooms were very clean and comfy. We went down for dinner one night to discover there was none. The bar in the hotel reception area is just for show. They have a roof top terrace bar that opens from 4pm to 10pm and is very pricey.....Tea/Coffee was Eur 5. There was no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. |

Was in a central area to visit the tourist attractions, near some good restaurants and tapas bars a 20/30 minute walk to the beach and not far from the Gironal airport bus connection. When we arrived the air conditioning in our room was not working and we had to stay 1 night at a sister hotel near the Marina - inconvenient because we couldn't unpack. The next day the air conditioning was still not working and it was very hot in our room on a night(7 day stay). Had to ask every day for our windows to be opened by housekeeping as it was locked. Receptionists were nice but thought it was funny!! We also reported a man near the hotel (next street) who exposed himself to us one night (2 females, mother & adult daughter ) followed us one day and exposed himself again in broad daylight - receptionist very flippant about this and didn't seem to take us serious. Even so would stay at this hotel again due to the good location |

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Barcelona. Las Ramblas is very close, as are the Picasso and Chocolate Museums, as well as a host of other neat spots. The views of the roof are impressive and the rooftop bar is a nice place to kick back at the end of a long day. Free internet was nice too. The rooms are quite small. Upon close examination, you can see that the furniture is a bit worn. Ours faced the back so the view of the city was not good at all. While the check-in staff were great, the dining staff were a bit snippy. Our breakfasts were rushed because they seemed to want everyone out at 10:30 on the dot. We haven't encountered that at other hotels. It is a decent hotel but not quite as impressive as the other reviews lead me to believe. |

The location was excellent for the main sights to see in Barcelona. The staff was very friendly and tried their best to work with our language difference. For the cost the room was small and I got a room for two people even though I was alone. Made me wonder what a single room would have looked like at those prices. |

It is perfectly situated as a central base from which to explore all of Barcelona- day & night.(& I was a solo female traveler) It is beautiful, very safe & very clean, quite comfortable, & the staff is excellent in every way. Easy public transpo access, though you are in walking distance of so much you may not need it. Free wifi. Lovely bathrooms. You really must ask for a room on the front, as the rear rooms are v small & v dark. The TV's (all) had no reception beyond local Catalan stations while I was there (though you are doing something wrong if you're watching tv while in Barcelona) :-) Take your own kettle to avoid the needless & expensive breakfast. |
