Like staying in a penthouse apt on a hill in San Francisco, except you are on a ridge top directly above The Congreso and The Guggenheim. A basic room, but the most amazing views and the most helpful staff of any hotel I ever stayed with in northern Spain. |

The grill was shut so the receptionist ordered us a takeaway chinese meal and set up a table in the breakfast diner and we had it their. It was very good and she washed up afterwards for us. She was so helpful and pleasant and so was the man the next morning. |

The hotel is located on top of a hill near Bilbao. From your room you will have a (somewhat) limited view over the city. The hotel has free parking and free wifi. The beds were to small. For 2 west europeans you must really crawl close to each other to fit. |

From the moment we entered the office for check-in, the staff was extremely responsive to our requests for: a recommendation on where to eat, access to the facility later in the evening, and description of the morning breakfast. It was not possible to leave the window open, as mosquitos entered the room when we did open it for a short moment. |

Stunning location overlooking Bilbao. Air con in room. Copious and varied breakfast.Convenient for funicular When we arrived, we were not down in the book, despite the fact that when he checked the manager found his copy of your booking. Luckily, as it was not high season there was a room still available. |

Excellent location overlooking the city. Peaceful, our rooms had great views. Only slight issue was that there was no air conditioning. Perhaps they could provide fans to allow more air movement. Apart from that it was great. |

Pleasant staff/owner. Comfortable, clean rooms and well equipped with modern showers TVs etc. Tasteful decor. The self service continental breafast felt expensive at 24 euros for a family of four. And amateurs of good coffee would be disappointed as coffee is dispensed from a basic Nescaf machine. Breakfast was v busy and we had to wait to be seated + we then had to ask for items such as milk for our cereals etc. Whether this was unusual for this place I cant say (it was August and the hotel was full) but the one customer facing staff member present seemed overrun with all her tasks such as running breakfast, answering the phone and checking people out paying their bills etc. |

The countryside position of the hotel on a hill overlooking Bilboa. A very comfortable, friendly hotel. It is quite difficult to find. In the evening we went out for a drive ending up in Bilboa and then realised we didn't know how to get back to the hotel. Eventually the local police guided us home! |

There was a free parking . To go to the town there is a bus stop in front of the hotel every hour till 22u15. The breakfast was good but we could'nt have diner but there is a restaurant.nearby. The hotel staff was very helpfull for our problem how to reach the airport and the gasolinera There was no airco in the bedroom . |

Beautiful view of the city, you could hike to the funicular (20 min) to go downtown (another 15 to the Guggenheim). Attentive staff, well done rooms, great value, nice breakfast, free wifi, would I stay again-absolutely! |

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Views from the hotel are fantastic. The hotel is situated in a quiet position, yet it is easy to access Bilbao. Avoid the restaurant next door, we did not have a pleasant experience there. |

Hotel was clean and well presented. Staff were bi-lingual and very helpful. Hotel situation extremely panoramic giving a stunning view of Bilbao. Easy access from Hotel to Bilbao Ferry Port. The lack of proper restaurant a little disappointing. |

I liked the green areas surrounding the rooms and the great view of the Bilbao City. The area to have breakfast was very small. The breakfast was poor. |

perfectly situated on top of Bilbao, nice view over the city; short drive by car - 10min - to the city; nice family run hotel, very nice people, good breakfast; tennis court for free!!! parking directly at the hotel room smelt a little bit after smoke - guess it was a smoking room before; it was a bit too cold in the room |
