In Vigo’s city centre, surrounded by green areas and close to the waterfront, this attractive hotel offers comfortable accommodation and a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.

In the shopping, tourist, commercial and historic heart of Vigo, the hotel is close to the old part of the city and all of its attractions. The famous Mercado de La Piedra is nearby, as is the Estación Marítima (seaport), where boats set sail for the nature reserves of Cíes Islands and to the pretty, little fishing villages of Cangas and Moaña.

Take a tranquil stroll along the seaside or through the green spaces nearby or enjoy Vigo’s sports facilities. The city is situated on a 20 mile-long estuary and boasts beautiful beaches and superb water sports facilities.

With its attractive original façade, comfortable accommodation and relaxing, welcoming environment, the hotel is a great base from which to explore Vigo.

The hotel’s convenient location means that is ideally situated for visiting many attractions in the city of Vigo itself and in the surrounding area.

The beautiful and historic old part of the city is just a short walk away. The traditional cobbled streets and old fishermen’s cottages illustrate Vigo’s history as a fishing port. The Mercado de La Piedra (the Market of the Stone) is situated in the city’s old quarter. This popular market is a great place for picking up souvenirs or for sampling the region’s famous traditional cuisine.

The fishing port of Berbés is one of the largest fishing ports in Europe and leads the world in terms of fishing for human consumption.

Estación Marítima (the harbour station) has a regular boat service to the nature reserves of Cíes Islands. Some of the biggest and most luxurious cruise ships also dock here.

Calle del Príncipe is the commercial and cultural centre of Vigo and there are many shops and designer boutiques along the street. There are also many museums nearby.

El Castro is a large park near the centre of Vigo. The park contains the remnants of the city’s old fortifications and you can enjoy beautiful views of the town. The park also has a monument to the galleons sunk during the Battle of Rande in 1702. The monument features the recovered anchors of several of the ships that sank during the battle.

Vigo also has numerous beaches along its coastline. The city of Bayonne is just 22 km away, Santiago de Compostela is a little less than 100 km away and Portugal is only 35 km away.
