Hotel Alixares

Excellent location vis-a-vis Alhambra. Very good connection with center by bus. Good room with a view of Sierra Nevada. Very good breakfast. Rewelacyjna lokalizacja, naprzeciwko Alhambry. Dobry dojazd busami do centrum. Ładny pokój z widokiem na Sierra Nevada. Dobre śniadania.

Poor wi-fi internet, works good only near reception (but it's free). Expensive parking. Słabo działający, ale darmowy internet (dobrze działał tylko koło recepcji). Drogi parking (albo garaż hotelowy, albo za tę samą cenę parking przed Alhambrą).

Znakomita lokalizacja do zwiedzania Alhambry, dużo miejsc parkingowych. Sprawna i życzliwa recepcja, znająca języki obce. Pokoje wygodne i ciche, bardzo dobre śniadanie w formie bufetu za umiarkowaną cenę ( 8 euro).Hotel idealny dla zwiedzających Granadę,łatwo też do niego trafić. W sumie dobra relecja ceny do jakości, polecamy.

Głównie jego położenie, bezproblemowa zamiana pokoju na cichszy, generalnie miła atmosfera.

Małe pokoje z cienkimi ścianami, ponadto moja żona zatruła się w barze hotelowym kanapką z tuńczykiem z puszki - barman nie mówił po angielsku więc nie można się z nim porozumieć. To jest hotel 3-gwiazdkowy. Na 4 nie zasługuje.

Location, comfort and value for the money as being excellent.

Lunch price a bit expensive, 14 euro for buffet lunch.

We were greeted warmly at reception, and changed our room from a twin to a double without any fuss. Our bedroom was bright and cheerful with a view of Al Hambra. Being a twenty minute walk into town the hotel was very quiet at night. (The walk into town is delightful through a wooded parkland) All staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As usual in any hotel the bedroom was too warm for our personal comfort but soon adjusted by the a/c control. There was no English channels on the TV, not even CNN for the news.

Superb location for a visit to the Alhambra and Granada. No problems parking as staff did this. Good breakfasts. The buffet Dinner [tried one night] was excellent and good value. Take your travel kettle if you want hot drinks in your room. Would use again. Book Alhambra ticket online in advance. Nasrid palace entry time is obvious but watch out for the morning or afternoon ticket end time for entry to Alcazaba & Genaralife or you won't be allowed in them.

Hotel Alixares exceeded our expectations. Just a short 5 minute walk to the Alhambra. Bus 30 or 32 can be taken from in front of the Alhambra down into town. We did the Gypsy Flamenco show in Sacremonte and enjoyed it. The bar tender at the hotel was excellent and we ate several meals of Tapas at the bar. We did not use the restaurant. The Hotel staff was very helpful in making recommendations of where to go and how to get there. Our room had 3 twin beds, a nice bathroom with tub and shower and was on the 5th floor with a outdoor porch overlooking the city. This was by far the nicest as well as least expensive hotel in our trip to Spain including Madrid, Seviila, and Granada. I will stay there again and highly recommend it.

The Gypsy Flamenco show was supposed to include a tour of the city, but ours was cut short. This had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but just be forewarned that the brochure for the show is a bit misleading.

Fantastic to visit Alhambra but a bit difficult for Grenada

No slippers, no bathrobes, No prayer facilities, It was meant to be a 4 star hotel!!!

Comfortable, well equipped. We liked the buffet style mealsthat were offered. The staff were always helpful

Good location. It's near the Alhambra. The hotel's staff was kind. We arrived at the hotel in the morning. Even though it was definitely earlier than check-in, a receptionist let us check in just after a short wait.

Swimming pool was small and far from being comfortable.
