La calle de nuestro hostal está situada en la parte más alta de la ciudad antigua, con pequeñas calles y poco tráfico, es una zona tranquila.

We were given an apartment that could sleep 4 for the price of our double room. Wonderful. Quiet street. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Modern bathroom. Wintertime is cool in Barcelona and the radiator in the bathroom didn't appear to work, but this was a very minor point, still 9 out of 10 overall |

The position of the hotel was great, in the very center of Barcelona, very close to shops, restaurants and place to see (like Casa Battlo', la Rambla, la Boqueria, etc..). I was alone but there was room for at least 3 persons. The quality/price ratio was very good. And I loved the common room, warm and cosy. The bathroom was really small. But I guess, since the building is old, there is not too much to do to improve it. |

The hotel staff were very friendly. The ones that we interfaced with spoke both Spanish and English. The hotel was located near Las Ramblas and offered free internet. The hotel is in a seedy section of town. The taxi drivers, hotel clerks, and a street maintenance worker all warned us of pickpockets. The rooms were very dated and the shower stall was extremely small. Our room window opened to a wall only a few feet away. Our rooms did not look like those advertised on the web. No breakfast is provided on weekends. We would not recommend this hotel. |

The hotel was ideally situated, very central and close to shops. The interior of the hotel was charming and traditional rather than bland. Staff were helpful and courteous, and the facilities of Cafe Centric for breakfast were great. Overall good value for money. |

The staff was great....often going out of their way to help us. It was a bit noisy in the hall ways at night. The sound seems to carry from room to room. Loved having free use of computer. Only the noise level. |

The location was excellent!! The noise wich other guests mentioned not that bad. A room facing the street is a bit more noisy during weekends. But has a nice view over the street. The bar next door (which belongs to the hotel) has nice sandwiches. Breakfast is not included. |

Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating and location was great, not far from La Rambla. Bed was a little hard, but for the money, the 2 rooms plus a living room was a great pleasure. |

It is so close to the Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. The apartment was newly refurbished and had everything that we needed. The steps up to the appartment - however we did know about this on booking! |

the central location, interesting view from balcony particularly in the middle of the night ! Quiet once the balcony door was closed. Loved the decor. Reception very helpful. Disliked the bar as a breakfast room, could not eat without cigarette smoke being blown into ones face. |

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived quite early and they stored our luggage and allowed us to use the washrooms to change and freshen up. The location was great - close to the Rambla and public transportation, including the airport bus. We were not bothered by any noise at night. It had a pleasant lounge with a computer for guests to use free of charge. The hotel does not have an elevator and the winding staircase is not easy with luggage. However I knew this before I booked the hotel since I had read the reviews. |

The hotel was in a quiet situation within easy walking distance of all the tourists sites in the centre of the city.The staff were friendly and helpfull and the rooms were cleaned daily. |

Very good hotel!!.excelent location!!! Very good service !!! They didn't clean the room so mach evey day but thay did the bad. Refrigerator and TV will be a good upgrading for the hotel. |

The hotel located in a little nice street, 2 min from placa katalunya and 1 min from the Rambla. The stuff was very kind, the room was very wormy. Everyone can use the computer & internet free. |

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of town yet the hotel was still quiet at night with no disturbances. Our room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Perfect hotel choice and good price. |
