Gran Meliá Don Pepe

Buena ubicación, la mayoría del personal es muy profesional y amable y tanto el hotel cmo algunos de sus trabajadores acusan el paso del tiempo.

Actitud del Maitre y de un camarero del turno de desayuno del 21 de noviembre. Llegamos a las 11 y diez y sin dar los buenos días, un camarero miró su reloj ostensiblemente, en plan de "a buenas horas". Aun quedaban un par de mesas ocupadas, podían habernos dejado desayunar, pero tras intercambio de miradas, el Maitre fingió amabilidad y pesar y nos indicó que acudierámos al servicio de habitación, que luego él mismo ordenó, aunque no subieron el agua sin gas que habíamos pedido. En fin, pequeño detalle que empaña imagen de un hotel bueno y semivacío, asi que un desayuno más,desayuno menos, no les iba a provocar mayor cansancio excesivo.

Lujo y la ubicacion extraordinaria

Venden el restaurante de Dani Garcia (calima) como que forma parte del hotel y no es asi.

Las habitacines y el cuarto de baño son muy pequeños , no correspoden a un hotel de 5 estrellas.

Si, en la piscina si dabas propina habia colchonetas, para las tumbonas del cesped, y si no (lo insinuabas) te decian que no habia disponibles.es lamentable, no me extraña que vegan menos turistas.cutres.

Excellent food, especially breakfast. Spacious, very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, mature private gardens and central location. Views to Gibraltar and Africa from our balcony. Very obliging staff, and free convenient parking on site.

The pool area was really lovely with lots of different areas for lounging around during the day. Also the breakfast buffet was good.

The poolside restaurant was very average for a hotel of this standard. To charge for broadband in a 5star hotel in 2009 seems utterly ridiculous to me and I know a number of the guests felt the same way. Also once you checked in there was no effort made on behalf of the receptionist to advise you of the hotel's facilities, location of different areas within the hotel, etc.

We had a fabulous stay at the Gran Melia Don Pepe - arriving for an extremely last minute weekend away from Scotland for one night only. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kindly. Over the two days and one night's stay we could not think of a single thing that the hotel let itself down on. Everything was 100% perfect and this completely delighted us. Thanks for making us so welcome at such a reasonable cost and making it possible for us to have a last minute weekend in the sun.

Absoloutley nothing. It was exactly what we wanted and more in every way.

The situation, the friendliness of staff, the room, the clean bedclothes every day and the gardens.

The bathroom needs renovating as does the shower at the indoor pool. The indoor pool was drained for 3 days (out of our 10 day stay) when the unheated outdoor pool was too cold to use. On more than one occasion the room was not made up until after 3 pm.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room. Bathroom was large & had a free standing shower in addition to a full size bathtub. Great buffet breakfast included in the price.
