The staff were friendly. That was the only good thing about the Atenea Where do I start?. 1970´s style office block with beds so hard I had to sleep on the floor. |

The location was excellent being very close to Les Corts metro station and the El Corte Ingles department store. The rooms are quite spacious (35 sq metres) and include a basic kitchen to prepare very simple meals. The kitchen was too basic lacking a toaster , microwave and oven. The internet was too slow and the signal too weak. |

Nice, tidy hotel with a friendly atmosphere - definitely worth its stars, by no means a 2-3 star hotel as some comment indicated. Convenient location within walking distance from Camp Nou, easy to get to the main attractions by metro with two stations nearby. "Thin walls..." - shower, bathroom and other noise from nearby rooms a bit disturbing |

It was great to have a fridge in the room as well as a place to cook. Location is also excellent - 5 mins from metro station. It is not 4 star hotel. Definitely between 2-3. Also, breakfast is overpriced but it's ok since there is a lot of pleaces down the road to have some spanish breakfast |

The receptionists especially men, were so nice and spoke Enlgish Very well. i was inspired because so much better in service and welcome than my previous hotel which was 5 star hotel and so much expensive than this hotel in Paris. if i have a chance to go to Barcelona, i will stay in this hotel. Thank you for your kindness. |

Very pleasant hotel, walking distance to nou camp and metro lines, convenient to get into all central places of interest. Good size room, bathroom and lovely to have kitchenette facilities. Extremely clean. Good check in / out Reception staff were helpful at all times. |

The rooms were big, kitchen is definitely a plus, and the location was good, close to Metro, nice and quiet neighbourhood.The maids were very attentive with our baby's stuff. 1) There are two tipes of rooms - old and new, refurbished ones. We got the old one (there was no mention of different prices or possibility of choice), furniture was old and shabby, but still functional. 2) The water temperature in the shower was going up and down (dangerous when you are bathing a baby). 3) No internet access like we were promised (our room was on the corner, just a few rooms down signal was excellent. 4) Water dripping from the ceiling when turning on the air condition.. Conclusion: Not a 4 star hotel. |

Clean, spatious room. I particularly liked the little kitchenette facility - it made breakfast very easy! The room was nice and big too, in comparison to other hotels where my colleagues were staying which were in the same price range. It was a short walk to the metro and buses, close to a shopping area and close to restaurants. I was very happy with it and would stay there again - good value for money. The only problem I had was with the shower - the water temperature cycled from hot to cold constantly |

The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very efficient.if you just want to sleep there and nothing else it is perfect. Although Internet access was provided the system would not allow mail retrieval from Yahoo. The Buffet Breakfast was not that great. Not enough attention paid to healthy choices. Fried eggs were swimming in oil. |

The location is very convenient: close to the direct metro line to go to Ramblas. Kitchen with a fridge is a nice feature. The room was rather spacious for two people. Kitchen equipment (plates, pots, silverware, etc) is not provided by default, so one has to ask for it. It was brought right away, however. But with the remnants of food from previous user. The plumbing is rather noisy. Could hear the neighbors using the bathroom. The metro seems to be right under the hotel, so when the train passes there is some vibration and noise, even on the third floor! |

Convenient location. Proximity to metro and major grocery store. Our room had a kitchenette that was convenient and saved us money as we had breakfast in the room. Construction on both sides of the hotel... |

It was close to where we had to be. Breakfast was poor. Furniture and bed linen was shabby. Hotel was dated and stuck in the 80s. |

Good value for Barcelona. Convenient for transport - close to Les Corts Metro Station and Sants Mainline Station. Also close to a large El Corte Ingles store. A long way from central attractions, but this was mitigated by the proximity to transport. |
