Selenza Estepona Thalasso & Spa

The Thalasso and Spa facilities were good

There did not seem to be any alternatives to Thalasso and Spa, very little else to do. Our room was below par, too much plastic for a 4plus star hotel.

The hotel is lovely and beautiful and the desk staff are very nice and responsive.

The hotel was supposed to have internet access in the room - however the connection in the villa did not work and it was not repaired - so I was stranded without being able to connect other than going into the lobby. I had also understood from the Bookings.com site that I had a villa with spa privelegdes, but as it turned out, I only received one complimentary visit to the thalasso spa and the other days I had to pay for this. The bookings.com site was not clear about this. The spa staff were impatient with me about this issue, like I should have known, so by the fourth day, I stopped using the spa services. Since the spa was the main reason I was staying at this particular hotel, being treated brusquely really detracted from the stay

We stayed at the villa's across from the main hotel and we thought they were amazing however when we booked there were no pictures online to show just how good the villa's were I would suggest they added some pictures. We will definatly be booking again.

the staff and surroundings wre brilliant and the value for money was supurb

The hotel is in a very good position in between Puerto Banus and Estepona which is very good for shopping, dinning and nightlife. The Spa is probably one of the best i've been to and the hotel is quite modern could do with Wi-Fi in the rooms though

Staff was somewhat lost at times

the calm feeling no hustle and over crowding so relaxing the rooms are a good size

Comfortable and clean, staff very helpful and the free trip round the spa is excellent.

A little out of the way, you do need a car.

The access to the pool from the Villa Apartments was good.

It is not possible to walk to the beach or restaurants from the hotel due to the highway, but that is not clear on the map or in the information on the website. There is no internet access in the villas, only in the hotel and that was not accessible.

Lacked atmosphere

I booked this hotel for myself and my daughter as we were in need of pampering in luxurious surroundings. We were not disappointed. The staff were very pleasant and the cleanliness was exceptional. Overall it was a very good experience and excellent value for money.

I would say a hired car is an essential. We had booked bed and breakfast but there were no restaurants nearby so we ended up eating in the hotel in the evenings. The restaurant prices are expensive. Although the food is good, I feel it is overpriced.

La habitacion es comoda y confortable. Sobre todo la zona de SPA, esta muy bien cuidada y diseñada.

Habia usuarios que regresaban a la habitacion a altas horas de la madrugada con la consiguienta molestia que eso supone para el que pretende descansar.

El spa es magnífico. El desayuno-incluido- también.

1. La ubicación: está en mitad de ninguna parte, pero con coche no hay problema. 2. El servicio del desayuno: una sola camarera ,muy agradable y eficiente, pero insuficiente para el número de clientes presentes.
