The room was very modern and very well designed and a good size. The location was good for exploring madrid. The staff were very nice and breakfast very enjoyable.

Cleanliness and comfort of the hotel and breakfast facilities

This hotel is well located and all the attractions of downtown Madrid are less than a 20- 30 minute walk away. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I was not bothered by street noise from the Gran Via. The bathroom had a full size tub if you're into soaking after a long day of sight seeing. This is not a luxurious, full service facility, but it's a good choice for tourists who need a reasonably priced place to sleep and will be spending most of their time outside the hotel enjoying Madrid.

There was a 19 Euro/day charge for an Internet hook-up in your room, something that always irritates me when you're paying over $200/day for the room itself.

Nicely presented and comfortable rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to offer some good advice on local restaurants.

The staff were helpful in terms of finding good resturant, bars etc.

The fact that certain basic things were too much trouble. For example getting a knife to cut a birthday cake and hot water to take medication.

The Hotel is very central and very comfortable and clean.

I had my visa blocked by the Hotel until I paid them and when I went to pay them they did not understand that they had already blocked the money and I lost a lot of time with the taxi waiting trying to explain.

Floor tile of the room was not convenient in addition to that hotel does not provide slippers for standard rooms. Altough picture of the rooms looks nice, furnitures were old and damaged... Staff was not friendly

Great Location, close the metro and easy to get to all the major sights in madrid. The hotel is beautiful inside, quiet (not always easy to find on the Gran Via).

It was in the heart of Madrid and near metro and bus stations.

the location is nice. our room has a view of the main street, grand via. if the window is closed it's surprisingly quiet. The room is very clean. we have a non-smoking room. there's no tiny smell of smoking in the room. The room is well designed. The tv comes with set-top box, which is really handy.

The light beside the bed is bit strangely designed. the room is not very spacious, but i think for the money it is worthy. The room is very good at shielding the noise from the street, but not good at screening the noise from inside the building. if your neighbor comes back late in the evening, it might be a bit noisy when they are in the hallway. if you like get up late, you may also be disturbed by the noise outside your door as well. but I would say that's not very bad.
