Mycket vänlig personal och trevligt bemötande.

Vi hade ett rum mot gatan med mycket trafik som kan vara störande. Sängen var aningen hård.

Bra beläget mitt i Barcelona med gångavstånd till både strand och shoping. Relativt bra frukost men i en källarlokal utan fönster?

Det här var i mitt tycke inte ett 4* hotell. Inte ens i närheten för att vara ärlig. Medioker service och högst mediokra rum. Sängen var något hård och ojämn och kuddarna som enligt hotellet var av bästa kvalitet såg ut som ledsna överanvända tygstycken. Nej, något fyrastjärningt hotell var det inte.

Location was superb and my room (we had 3 altogether) was spacious. I had mentioned when booking that my family were celebrating a birthday and a bottle of cava awaited the Birthday Boy, that lovely touch was very much appreciated.

The heating in the rooms was oppressive. We ended up leaving the balcony doors open but as a result of course suffered from the noise. The fan just seemed ineffectual.

Convienience of location

The initial greeting we received at reception was poor... The room was very small .

I liked the location of the hotel. Very central

I did not like the size of the room - too small. I was unhappy that there was only one english speaking tv station - CNN. I would like if there was a kettle for making tea/coffee in the room.

Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast spread was great.

The location is good near la Ramblas and very close to metro station (jaum 1), the staff are very friendly and they can help with the city details and most attractions, but i think it is good value for money.

i don't think it is a 4 stars hotel it is 2 or 3 stars maximum.

Location in Gothic Quarter was great and convenient, right next to the Roman Wall. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and provided rollaway for my second child. My two teenage children said the buffet breakfast was one of the best they ever had!.

Rooms were small for rating assigned.

This hotel is perfectly situated for seeing many of the historic sights and museums. Our room had a cute balcony that backed onto the roman walls dating back to 1370! Most definitly the old city feel! Our room was clean and fresh towels every day (of our 5 day stay). The staff were polite and helpful. Internet access was free - a nice touch. I would rate it as a three star, only due to a few extras. Barcelona never sleeps and neither did some of the guests- banging doors. But I think you find that in any hotel. They could do with a more compfortable matress. Its right on a main well lit road so returning there we felt quite safe. Plenty of nearby restaurants aswell.

The hotel was very well situated in the city center close to shops & restaurants. I loved the free wireless internet connection and would stay again just for that!

The elevator was slow and we had to wait a long time in the morning.

Good Hotel, 3 star is more close to reality. Helpfull personal. Clean room.

The street is very noisy. You just have to keep the windows closed.

The location was excellent and the staff pleasant.

This hotel does not deserve a 4 star rating, it was a nice 3 star hotel. The room was very cold and we were told that there was no heat only a fan that controlled the air conditioning. We could not get warm. Windows were skylights, we could not see across to the next building and the sklight covers were difficult to operate.

Location and that's all it has in its favour.

Very Small room overlooking alleyway, bathroom sink blocked, Shower splashed all over bathroom and floor got flooded, hotel staff not very friendly or very helpful, would not stay again and would not recommend.
