Läget.

Ett väldigt "basic" turistklasshotell om man inte har några högre förväntningar. Många ungdomar. Enkelrum med fönster där utsikten är en vägg cirka 1 meter från fönstret. Golvet består delvis av ett rent trägolv, delvis av en gammal matta som sett sina bästa dagar. Safe box finns på rummet, skall betalas kontant separat från hotellräkningen. Bra pris, men är man ute i tid går det att få ett bättre hotell!

Ett fantastiskt stiligt hotell med atmosfär. Väldigt bra frukost. Läget är centralt.

Tyvärr saknades bar på hotellet.

Den första receptionisten vi mötte var inte speciellt trevlig. Övriga mycket bra!

The uad room was more than enough for the 4 of us. It was in a centrall location near the metro.

Pleasant and extremely quiet bedroom with air conditioning and regular changing of towells, soap, and sheets. Polite and helpful hotel staff. Two desktop PCs with free internet access in very ornate 'Salon'. Pleasant terrace area for drinks and relaxation. Reception open all night if you're returning late from a night out.

Overall the Hotel Granvia is a very good hotel appearing smarter on the website than its rooms actually are inside (although the 'Salon' was very ornate and had 2 PCs with free internet access). However, whilst most of the hotel staff were polite there were a few downsides: i) the safe in our wardrobe had no key, hence was completely unsecure and gave us no safe place for our valuables; ii) the rooms weren't anywhere near as ornate as suggested by the website with very un-Spanish English fox-hunting pictures above the beds; iii) hotel staff were polite but not overly friendly and appeared unsure of themselves on a couple of occasions, e.g. momentarily losing our room key and then finding it again; and when checking out were unsure of whether the credit card transaction was for payment or simply guarantee; iv) breakfast was EUR 11.7 which is £10 and overly expensive if you only want a cheap and simple breakfast. Nevertheless, overall I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The only thing that I liked to this hotel was the location. It is central.

The hotel has very small room, like 10 square metre, it has old furniture. The floor looks very bad, the tv didn't work. The bathroom is also very small.

central to las ramblas. clean and tidy.

receptionist very rude and arrogant. but did let us store cases after cruise.

The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the city's main communication hub (Plaza Catalunya). The overall appearance of hotel I find very nice.

The room was a bit noisy. I could hear underground trains and people from surrounding rooms.
